Psychedelic Bump XVII

That's a pretty common method of dosing. I've never had em but i think it's pretty much understood that it covers up the taste. I don't like chocolate that much so I'd rater just eat em or make tea.

 

Do you think I should swallow the 25i-nbome blotter after I'm done letting it absorb sublingually?
I feel like it won't help and may add some nausea.

 

I pick at the blotter with my tongue until the paper breaks and starts like rolling off and peeling. That way I get the full piece of paper that whatever liquid was drop on

 

I've swallowed 25i blotters both times I've taken it after letting it sit sublingually for a bit, I have not experienced nausea from it.


On another note, contemplating some 6 apb tonight at a club, Feel I could use a good evening out.

Watched a documentary about time tonight. Interesting theory on schizophenia, that it might actually be the inability to sense time in a linear fashion. If time is really only a fabrication of our minds to make sense of our perceptions, maybe schizophrenia is really only a mind that doesn't put things together in the same linear fashion as most other people.
Which is interesting when combined with stories of schizo disorders as a result of psychedelic use.
Strong argument for the idea that time is a human construct.

Also, re: quote at the bottom of my sig... NIST in Boulder took two clocks, raised one a foot higher than the other and measured the difference between their time keeping.
The higher one ticked faster.

Interesting, I just discovered my gel cap with maybe 15mg 4-AcO-DMT HCl turned into a brown goo. Now how long had that been out? Hold on let me check me records...ok about two months ago.
I wonder how my aces are doing in the freezer...

I've read anecdotal stories that 4aces physical degradation doesn't affect activity much, if at all. YMMV.
Surprised the HCL did that. I've some fumarate and fb in the fridge, hasn't changed physically one bit. The fumerate I've had nearly a year, the fb about 6 months. Same as the day I got it.

 

Interesting, I've done a couple amount of reports throughout school on schizophrenia, never really heard that theory but it sounds like it could be a specific feature of disorganized schizophrenia. Even beyond the concept of time, disorganized schizophrenics often exhibit like fractured ideas when speaking and arranging items in 'odd' ways, it seems like having inability to sense time in a linear fashion could effect those symptoms.

 

Interesting tie-in, I was listening to a Joseph Campbell lecture a couple weeks ago, in which Campbell was telling a story. In the early 60s, he was asked to speak to a retreat of psychologists interested in schizophrenia. He gave a co-presentation with a psychiatrist detailing the causes and symptoms of schizophrenia and he said (my paraphrasing) "I was amazed to learn that the experiences of these schizophrenic patients mirrored exactly the Hero's Journey I had described in The Hero With a Thousand Faces back in 1949".

 

I think I've watched that or most of it, where about is the part about schizophrenia?
