i'm never gonna remember to check out ALL of these bands, but i really should since i usually like the ones i do recognize.

pinback is my 2nd favorite band of the moment, next to BTS. i would absolutely LOVE to see either of those bands.

i only know a song or two by tristeza, but i really like it. had NO IDEA they were related to pinback. that's neat. the song is posted on porkpage if you remember that site

i fuckin love pinback. they are so good and relaxing. i turned my work buddy onto them, so now we listen to it in lab most days

So I know this has nothing to do with psychedelic bump and that I doubt anyone here will like this, but I still want to share because the psybump people have kind of like become my family and this makes me happy so I want to let you guys know.

My favourite band (in that style of music) is a band called Converge. They are from Massachussets. They NEVER come to canada. Now, after 10 years of being in love with them, I'm getting to see them on wednesday and I am STOKED!!!!

Prop 215 was fucked today in Oakland in response to California standing behind Medical Marijuana and US Marshals, DEA, & OPD plus Alameda County Sheriffs right now have downtown Oakland cordoned off and three dispensaries were raided, there's a HUGE protest in the streets and Oaksterdam is among the raided dispensaries. What a fucking awful thing! I'm heading out with some finger hash from purple kush and my eye of Horus pipe and protesting now. Fuck the police.

 

I've seen Built To Spill, Modest Mouse, The Strokes, Stereolab, Belle & Sebastian, The Flaming Lips, Vic Chessnut, Elliott Smith, Tortoise, Trans Am, Yo La Tengo, Bright Eyes, The French Kicks, Pinback, High On Fire, & Queens of the Stone Age each multiple times and known and partied with many of them, good music and good people, and yes Tristeza has someone in either Heavy Vegetable or Pinback, heh. Okay now off to yell at fascist pigs!

Oh yeah porkstock check out Treepeople, BTS's old band name in the early 90's in Boise where I used to drop acid or shrooms and see them at the local club/drug den the Crazy Horse.

 

oakland must be nuts right now, just saw a news headline about a school shooting in oakland with 5 dead as well. maybe that's why downtown is cordoned off? i don't know if the school was anywhere near there.

Knowing that you like low doses of some other psychedelics, I think 25 mgs is a good spot.

2.5 hours later, my feet feel heavier, some slight dizziness. so much for 'the caddilac of all psychedelics'. Maybe some Khush will make it better.

thanks for "reminding" me about tristeza though. i enjoyed listening to a couple songs by them this morning. they definitely don't have either of the pinback members in that band though. must be heavy vegetable i guess (don't know them well)

 

so my bachelor camping trip is coming up. like you guys probably know, the plan is to dose LSD with as many of my buddies that are willing to take some

today i got the great idea to possibly combine mine with a little 4aces. curious what you guys think about dosage and timing. i'm thinking 30-35 mg, maybe 3-ish hours after i dose one strong hit of L

I would've recommended 30-35 for a first go. It's kind of hard to feel strongly though.
Even at 50 I didn't feel too different.
