i don't think these shrooms were very strong. although my friend tripped pretty hard to maybe i just naturally have a high tolerance or something.

 

Are you having an enjoyable trip?

 

When I start thinking I got too much/not enough, I sometimes find it helpful to think "I got the level I was supposed to. However high I am right now, that's what I needed." Usually helps.

Even if you're not tripping super-hard, the thought "I wonder if I did enough/oh man were those doses bad?" can really make you fret and kind turn the trip negative.

I'm sure they were the perfect strength for what you needed today!

 

it was still enjoyable, i just expected to feel more of an effect. i wish we could have spent more time outside, but it was really cold. next time i'm just going to say fuck it and have 5 grams i think.

 

How many posts do you have to have before you can change your status from "Member" to something else (like prog has "superstoner")

So this morning I was offered some butylone & both 5- & 6-APB & rather than jumping on that shit, declined the offer but said I'd take a rain check... which I'll take just not now.
I'm a little trigger happy and frankly can be high strung as hell--but since age 14 with that first high, morphine (pot a few weeks later, and some eight ball print Lucy within a few days) I've had a pattern of starting with soul improvement and relaxation which leads to getting loaded regular like all the time to the point of losing focus then losing control damned near and reeling myself in. This break around I've decided to follow the model set by someone who I deeply admire, my tutor for mescaline and DMT extraction our buddy here Spicey Cat. So in point of fact, nobody in the past 21 years, since first getting turned on, has ever heard this tune...not mom, dad, my brother, friends...nobody. I'm going to start collections of sikes & rolls and exercise restraint no different than this morning. Except with DMT, shrooms, and weed...perhaps MXE & S-ket and even there I only crave weed...and DMT. So my drug use with the exception of treatment of medical conditions should look like yours soon enough porkstock. I'm getting too old to fall into these constant patterns, time to chill. My buddy was almost quizzical with his looks at me as if I really was saying no thanks for now.
Of course I can never turn my back on this life for good, but I intend to put what I cop on ice until the time is right.

Science projects involving conversion of morphine sulphate to the HCl then treating with acetic anhydride followed by a dual solvent wash, prep with hydrochloric acid, chloroform and ether have me more jazzed! Sure it's naughty, but mad science thrills me equal to getting ripped. I'd really lost focus of why seek out LSD & MDMA, mescaline, 2C-x, etc. It's always been for me about healing deep psychic wounds. It feels good to have found myself again and though I took an enormous dose of LSD to find myself again, something likely viewed here as insane, that IS what grounded me. I can't be sure if phens or acid caused the convulsions since too much acid has that potential, but the trade off was getting grounded again. Perhaps nobody would understand but I have really got say if you place your faith in LSD as the Rainbow Family espouse it will improve you. Or so I believe.

I'm enrolling in an organic chem program this Fall... lol, one day folks will trip off my creations... not the one above though. It's the acetylation process of morphine to make then purify diacetylmorphine :daisy:

Nobody can rag on me for scientific exploits though, that ain't fair cuz I'm making my drug hobbies into scholarly affairs

 

Like damn...90% or so are. It just so happens not all are though, so what to say since that's always available to me other than a shame about that $2. Oh well, in another timeline perhaps we're friends and your doppelganger has some quality shit

Cosmo, sounds like you are rationalizing yourself a way of getting back into it all.

"Collecting" psych's for later use, a long list of excepted drugs, and taking "rain checks" on stimulants and stuff...

To say your drug use will be like porkstock's is a meaningless comparison, because you have completely different drug-tendencies than pork and you yourself admit that recreational use leads to abusive use very easily for you.


I really hope for your sake that your "sometime in the future" really is some far-off day, not just a euphemism for "in a couple weeks".

Sound as it may as it does to you, believe my sincerity please. Not friend one EVER has heard these lips decline dope. It is for future use should I even pursue. As for pulling my own DMT, that's just some great, volatile fun. Anyway this joint has known of my exploits for two or three of TWENTY-ONE of the years of my viscous cycle. I get your skeptical nature and would probably think the same if the tables turned but collected doses of shit in a fridge REALLY is my MO for now, much like my wariness when a friend quit weed, or said was gonna. He did, & now like ¾ a year later he now has control. People change in the face of such wild experience or loss of control or lose themselves. Of course mental and emotional illness fuel my recklessness, but it's in check thanks.

cosmo, not quite sure what you mean about your drug use soon to be like mine. restricting everything besides weed and DMT? and shrooms and ketamine?

i remember when you busted on me for collecting chems and letting them slowly degrade in my fridge or something to that effect.
