Ya, well, diff strokes... It's great that it was put out, the family did a good job of trying to make Kesey's original dream happen.

I believe one of the pranksters said Kesey described AMT as the 'cadillac' of psychedelics. May be an overstatement but I've been intrigued ever since I heard that line. Finally have a lil bit to try for myself in the near future.

I've only done amt at <30 mgs a couple times, and it was definitely very mild. At that dose range it was sort of like a low dose of MDMA, I've read several trip reports on here and erowid that ~50 mgs it's starts getting more LSD-like, probably the trip I'd aim for if I come across it again. The nausea supposedly gets pretty intense for some tho at higher doses.

I don't know the context, besides the fact they had access to fewer psychedelics back then, or the doses/ROA Kesey or the pranksters took to refer to amt as "The Cadillac of psychedelics" but I get the impression on here, it seems more useful as a combination psychedelic or something to use when you're not looking for a mindbending trip but still looking for a general psychedelic type mindstate.

 

I've only used it 3-4 times so far, mood is really good :sunny:

I'm limiting my use to once every 2 weeks or once a month.

aMT is cool. It's just like oh, this feels like a basic tryptamine. It feels like a building block...good for combining. It lasts a good length. Pretty laid back but easy to go deep. It was awesome with MXE, and I'm trying it with 4-AcO-DMT soon. I've been waiting to try that combo for a while now.

 

The others comments generally sound like my impressions, though I've yet to dip into my ~100mg sample. (soon tho) Having not had it my objective impression is "cadillac" is pretty descriptive. It's a big, long, comfortable ride. Not apt to dig deep and uncover emotional material you thought you'd long ago hidden, no crazy mental gymnastics, not a high-powered sports car that goes 0-60 in 5 secs. My impression from reading anyhow.

Wow, I just re-read the post I made the other night when I was rollin and it is FUCKED up. lol My eyes would not sit still. Plus I would forget what I was talking about mid-sentence.

This molly has me so confused. I tested it with my mecke and marquis reagents and the marquis bubbled and went from purple to black quicker than I have ever seen and the mecke bubbled and went from a turquoise to deep blue. Maybe it's MDE? The molly just didn't have the euphoria at all. Everything else about it was normal. I should have rolled balls on 200mg. *shrugs* I dunno.

Bump for a bump of coke. Haven't done that shit in years! No where near the quality of what I used to get and more than three times the price of what I used to pay for a G. Glad it was free tonight.

I believe both MDE and MBDB test practically the same as MDMA on standard test kits. Your description reminded me of some molly I had about a year and a half ago minus the violence part. But it was pretty weird, I felt somewhat intoxicated, slightly detached from the experience and I was getting brain movies that reminded me somewhat of mescaline, super short attention span and I was not flooded with euphoria and empathy like MDMA.

 

^ MBDB tests yellow with the Mecke reagent, I just looked that up. So apparently it wasn't that. I dunno. Everyone else that has tried this batch including two of my friends say it is amazing and feels legit. Maybe because I am PMSing and my hormones are all whack it's fucking with me. It's extremely clean though and didn't leave me feeling drained or anything the next day nor was it very speedy so I don't think it has any sort of speed in it. I would def know because any form of amp or any cath gives me severe heartburn and makes me nauseous and I stay awake for days. On this I could have fallen asleep while on it.

It's the same MDMA used in the Power Button/Q pills.

 

Hmmm I haven't used Mecke and mainly familiar with Marquis, actually the people I was with when I tried that molly said it was legit as well but I gave it to a seasoned rollie pollie sometime later and he thought it was kinda garbage, I felt bad. But yah I felt whatever it was, was weird but sure beats meth bombs or pipes.
