Psychedelic Bump XV

looks like i've dosed 15 times in 2011...7 of those were with red stars. i've eaten 10 of them now. had my first real trip with 2cb this year in Feb. ate 2cb a total of 7 times as well - one with my fiance!, two were sorta duds, and with LSD on saturday as you mostly all know. and i got the chance to try mdma and mescaline, albeit with little effect.

2012 may bring some tryptamine action...with DMT and a trial with some old 4-ho-mipt.

 

What tryptamines would you all suggest (RCs that is...) for a really intense mental trip accompanied by a fascinating visual/synesthesia type trip?

Isn't LSD classified as an ergoline? I think I got "corrected" for saying it was a tryptamine on Drugs Forum awhile ago.

But yes, I certainly want to take it soon!

 

i dunno, it seems an awful lot like the thing you're looking for though. the trip you described can be reached through ingesting LSD

I totally agree. Everything points to LSD in my hopes for the type of trip I desire. I might just take two or three more strong 2C-I trips until I can get LSD hopefully within six months or so. I only like to trip abou once every month and a half or so, at most. It is too emotionally intense for more than that. But that could be due to the fact that I like to force myself to think about emotionally strong topics when tripping.

I am a bit weird in that I am a regular user of amphetamine and opioids almost purely for hedonic reasons, yet I have a very strong part of me that craves very different drug experiences with psychedelics and even Cannabis. It is like my brain needs both types of experiences for balance. Sounds like a good topic to ponder on my next trip. I thought about my "hard" drug use for a little while on my last trip but i didn't really reach anything that meaningful about it other than that I could cut down on it if I had more "genuine" relationships with people which i describe in the trip report I eluded to.

Sorry to ramble. My mind is still processing Monday's trip honestly. But in a good way.

 

You don't need any other tryptamine if you have 4-AcO-DMT

 

I find DPT the most intense mental RC tryptamine experiene and in low lighting it's extremeley visual, far more visual than the doses of 4-aco dmt I've taken. 4-aco-DMT is pretty good too in the mental trip, but I don't find it particularly visual.

DPT is a very strong one like GB mentioned but doesn't have the lovely body feelings like 4-AcO-DMT. 4-AcO is much more gentle unlike DPTs quite hard intense nature with very intense somewhat uncomfortable body load.

Also 4-AcO-DMT is a lot cheaper than DPT.

 

You had any intense 4-AcO-DMT trips because for me it's fucking insanely visual! i've seen some absolutely mental visuals with stuff like my tent turning into a menacing ever transforming demon after i came down as well whenever i closed my eyes while i lay in complete and utter mind expanding bliss was whole new worlds and beautiful landscapes in my vision.

had loads of other amazing visual ones with it as well that is just the trip that is etched into my mind.

 

wooo found some hash today finally, been looking for ages had a smoke and am getting a super cheap OZ tomorrow

today was smoking weed, hash, took 1mg xanax a min ago and smoked some opiod nectar earlier as well... + a beer for good measure.

 

I haven't taken the dose that high, 20 mgs rectally was probably my most intense visual trip. I saw some mandalas spinning on the ceiling on that trip but still it came at me pretty easy, not as 'intense' as what I've gotten from DPT or mushrooms really. I enjoy 4-aco dmt, it's got what I'd describe as a majestic feeling to it, but I guess I was keying in on that word 'intense' when etkearne was asking the question. My highest oral dose has been 33 mgs.

I also injected 4-aco-dmt into inert mushrooms once and I got a very 'alien' feeling to my trip, that trip was in public and maybe intense because of that and I found it very introspective due to my experiment in particular but I didn't really have significant corresponding open eyed visuals, although I did get some cool changes in color and pretty awesome CEV's.

I've also had a couple trips on 4-aco-dmt that have been dud's pretty much, besides an easier more natural feeling bodyload, I'd say it's about the 2ci counterpart of tryptamines, kind of hit or miss for me.

 

I tried a super light dose (5mg) of 2c-i with some Kron, and I had a super fun workout while watching music videos.

 

i didn't know you had "duds" on 4-aco-dmt. and i didn't know that 2ci was hit or miss for you.

as far as 4-aco-dmt, do you feel it's dose related, or have doses of 30 mg or more orally given you a dud?
have you tried any other 4-subs, and if so, do you like them better than 4-aco-dmt. i'd kinda like to add at least one to my arsenal...

 

Some of it is probably dose related but set/setting is more key ime with my 4-aco dmt trips. I found my 25 mgs 4-aco-dmt infused mushrooms trip more impressive than my subsequent 25 mgs trip of 4-aco-dmt powder. Also that rectal 4-aco-dmt dose is my lowest dose so far with it and also my most impressive 4-aco-dmt trip.

I have not tried any other 4-subs, unless we're counting psilocybin mushrooms which I prefer to 4-aco-dmt. I've had a passing interest in 4-ho mipt based on some reviews here.

 

^^but (hehe) isn't 20 mg rectal, more like 40 mg oral? give or take.

so what kind of setting does 4-aco-dmt shine in? like i've mentioned before, i feel i have a good grasp on how to use the psychedelics i've used several times (LSD, 2ce, 2cb), but i didn't really know how to put a single mdma dose to best use.

 

I find 4-aco-dmt has shined in settings pretty similar to LSD and 2ce, I enjoy some of it indoors and some of it outdoors. I took it at a Tool concert and enjoyed myself but I'd say it's not best suited for recreational use in a confining enviornment like a concert. Didn't you try it at a cemetary? I would've thought that would have been an interesting setting.

Dpt has pretty much been a strictly indoor trip for me, I move very little once that trip comes on.

Same as mushrooms . . . nature trip or indoors for the heavier stuff i still think your mdma experience is just proof you're a hardhead that dose turns me into a jabbering mess of energy trying to hug everyone and touch every surface while exhaling in contentment with every other breath . . .

 

DPT visuals BLOW AWAY 4-aco-dmt in my experience [and the highest i've gone with DPT was 70mg of HCl insufflated ]. that being said, i strongly prefer 4-aco-dmt.
