So yesterday, had a beer night and wound up hanging with some friends and the later with a neighbor. We get to talking music and psyches, kinda weird all told. Another person that hasn't a clue about rc's, has heard just enough to be curious and maybe dangerous. Tried to lay a little harm reduction on him, how to go about being safe and get some knowledge. May trip him and his girl sometime, dunno.
So we get talking music (they're pretty big on the club scene) and we have different tastes in tunes but, fun times looking at diff stuff on youtube on their flatscreen. I show him a vid from the Shpongle show on halloween and he digs it. Then says check this out.
It's funny how some bands just dont get much attention. I was thinking, "how have I not ever heard of these guys?" Any of you music fans heard of them? I guess they haven't toured in awhile.

I saw them at EDC, they put on a great live show. Their studio work is pretty poor though that may be one of the reasons they're not more popular.

 

Oh wow, ok. Ya, makes sense if their releases aren't all that great.

Which EDC? When it was little out in the sticks, or massive in LA ?

I ended up taking cutting a few hits off the strip of lucy i had and splitting it with friends. We didn't really feel anything so we took the rest of the strip (like 3 hours later) and I still currently really don't feel much. It's a real bummer Was definitely some very weak acid....

Thankfully i just got home not long ago and was able to smoke a nice bowl. So i'm feeling quite nice and mellow right now :sunny:

I had some FUCKED UP dreams last night/this morning after coming off the MXE. I was being chased by two guys that had tried to kidnap me from work, cut me up pretty bad and killed my coworkers in front of me. They had thrown me into the back of a van and tortured me for a while then I finally got away and ran into a building begging people to help me but they just walked past me as if I didn't exist. I was covered in blood and could feel my wounds and smell the blood. My dreams are always very detailed which sucks when I have dreams like last night. I woke up from the 'pain' and it even lingered for a few min afterwards. Just fucking disturbing.

 

First week of my MXE detox period I had off-the-chart weird-ass dreams. I wonder what effect, if any MXE has on REM sleep.

 

I skimmed through this book instores once, it mainly discussess Salvia and natural oneriogens but perhaps it says something about mxe and similar drugs too...

When, i was on citalopram (a prescription SSRI) i used to get real fucked up dreams that would disturb even the hardest head psychonauts out there, it would not be uncommon for me to even feel myself start to dream before i was asleep and would sumtimes get back up to prevent it. These dreams were always real fucking weird shit and i often wondered how on earth and where the content of these dreams would come from.

At first it was interesting but it really started to get to me after a while and i beleived it was beginning to impact my sub conciouss from the continued trauma of these dreams and i was always thinking about these dreams during the day because it was just difficult to comprehend this weirdness.

I'm no expert but sleep is magic, it is more important than food and water and the brain chemistry is differant in the sleep as the brain renews our chemical state for the next day, drugs just fuck with this process and the results are the shit i have described.

It's very manageble to fuck around with our chemistry once n a while and we can all agree it's fun but you need your sleep, too much drugs n shits gonna go down lol
