Piracetam has an immeadiate effect. The 'high' is very subtle though, maybe on par with caffiene but different of course. There is not much potential to use it as a recreational drug, although I haven't really mixed it with much.

Does it also have an immediate effect on your mood?

Bump because things have been rough weed-wise and I bought some outdoor and when i smoked some it completely blindsided me and I was as high as a kite. It was definitely sativa.

taking a mediumish dose of mdma and sitting with my journal and some music... i swear it's way more effective than any therapy i've had. i could see myself doing this once or twice/year for as long as i can still get real mdma.

i'll usually listen to one album on repeat while doing this. when i listen to the album later (while sober) it always seems to be more powerful, it's associated with shedding baggage.

I thought it was implied in the past few posts but yes Piracetam has an immediate effect on mood. However it doesn't take me from feeling down to feeling happy all of a sudden, it just clears my head so I don't dwell on negative stuff if that makes sense. Weed I think can be just as effective if not more, so if you regularly toke and it works as a mood enhancer for you than I'm not sure Piracetam has much to offer as it's not a strong psychoactive drug, but I do enjoy having a clear head with Piracetam.

The lasting effect MDMA has on music for me is amazing. I sometimes listen to a track that I listened to while on MDMA and I get swept up in the emotion of it in a way I never did prior to listening to it while rolling. I like the idea of it being associated with shedding baggage.

Speaking of music... I had sort of a epiphany type moment today working with some of the music I'm making. I've always been way too shy and never really liked my voice for vocals but I recorded some vocals today with some slight effects on my voice over one of my songs and it didn't sound half bad. I'd still prefer finding another singer but it makes me more excited to trudge forward and to keep on working on it... Thank you to Shivaya for giving me advice here and there with different aspects of music production!

No musician likes to hear their own voice. Ive trouble with that myself. when people say "oh your amazing remembering all those lyrics, damn you sing good". It still falls on deaf ears.. lol no pun intended.

I find weed hit or miss. It can either make things better or make things worse.

My pleasure dude. Not everyone needs to sound like usher by the way. If you can sing on key, then there's always something to work with. Think of Neil Young. Shittiest singer ever - but it works because of the ''soul'' he puts in it (not marvin gaye type soul but 100% commited and passionate type soul).

    Me too.

What's that like? Headspace? How do you deal with all the energy? What is a medium and what is a full-on dose for you?
    Thanks

That'd be interesting to take MDMA in that fashion. I like the idea, but I don't know if I could just sit and type for hours. I imagine it would be easy to keep entertained, but I can't really think of many other things to do in a bedroom besides listen to music and brainstorm.

I still have ~165mg from about a year ago that I haven't used. I kind of want to try it but when I used to roll about 2 years ago it made me really depressed. I usually couldn't even acknowledge why I felt so; I was just sad. However, that was 2 years ago when I was going thru a major transition.

Hey psychedelic people. I'm craving an experience at the moment. My everyday life has little direction and I'm started to get fed up with business.

I have no idea about what I'd like to accomplish in my lifetime and all the time I spend in school feels pretty useless when I don't really have a goal in mind. I'm double majoring in music and neuroscience. Playing music is now just a technical exercise- it's not fun, and I cannot imagine pursuing a career out of something so terribly dull. I have pretty selective musical tastes anyway. Maybe I need to drop the music so I can have the time to enjoy my college experience.

Neuroscience obviously is academic, and I'm not sure what I'd like to study if I get out of the undergraduate level. But I hardly have the time to be adequately prepared for classes (especially chem) with all the practicing I have to do. blehhhhhh thinking about switching to art therapy

All I know is that I want to be happy. Meh. Hopefully something psychedelic can make this all more clear.

I took about 140 -150mg. Towards the end of it I get kind if restless, this time I cleaned my apartment after finishing writing and such. Had the energy, so why not? My mind still works on stuff while I wash dishes and vacuum and such.

Can you give an example of an insight you've gained during one of your MDMA sessions?

    and such..

sounds like you had a pretty decent time then. I really like the idea of some self therapy with MDMA. I am hopefully going to try something like this myself soon.

sometimes i stop and realize that our country, orison, has been at war for over 10 fucking years!! wtf? i'm lucky to be far away from that, but it's also unfortunate because that's why it's so easy for it to continue. it seems like you're either in the middle of the shit, or you are far removed. and some of the far removed ones are probably making decisions about it.

I was in the same boat as you. Even graduated finally with a degree that I felt nothing towards. Now I am 28, and have finally possibly discovered what I want to do with my life, and am taking steps to get it. Thankfully my prior education is not a complete waste. But know that it can take a long time, and most of it is you growing as a person over many years, and likely many, many psychedelic journeys to help this come about. I didn't trip once on acid and have an "Aha!" moment . . . this was like a slowly dawning realization that had been staring me in the face for a while.

Thanks for sharing, Mr. Writer. A big fear I have is not being able to fit into society. I've considered learning how to live self sufficiently and just doing that for a while. That'd be too big of a jump for me. Though, I do know I'd much rather live a life doing things I love in the present rather than chasing that one career destination that is supposed to make me happy. (I'd imagine you'd live longer doing the things you love anyway) In the meantime, there's always the present.

I actually thinking dosing at the same time could have the effect of both trips unfolding sequentially as well. Since shrooms will peak and be falling off after 2-3 hours, and the mescaline (though it is only a light dose by itself) will not peak until around the fourth hour after ingestion, there is a good chance of a medium-heavy mushroom trip tailed-off by a long, mellow, protracted mescaline peak. This sounds ideal. I would like to do the first half (primary peak) in full meditative mode: quiet music, perhaps laying down w/ an eyeshade. Then in the second half (after about 3 hours) try more active choices like looking at paintings, playing music, or drawing. I am planning this now for sometime probably in December-ish.
