Ok, I worded that terribly, I'm kind of brain dead at the moment. Of course it doesn't feel healthy, it's no multivitamin. For me it feels relatively safe compared to other amphetamines. Feels very clean

 

I remember being real drained the day after a 4-FA experience. It's a great chem though!

Bump for receiving 4 ounces of yellow Banisteriopsis Caapi vine in the mail today. Going to try drinking a tea made from it for a week or two to see if and how it affects my mood.

I think about him every single day. I miss him SO much.

I have been thinking about my last few hardcore MXE experiences and believe I may have finally pulled something from that insane mess.

It was before I got clean and probably the worse I have ever been down in it and one thing that I commonly felt while on MXE was that I was 'dead and stuck in purgatory in a buzzing steel cage'. In a sense I really was. I spent a lot of times ignoring my friends and family because I was either nodded out or in such a severe state of withdrawal. What a horrible barely existence. I honestly don't see how I made it out alive but I am glad I did.

 

Going to make ayahuasca?

 

Probably not. I'm not really interested in all the purging that comes with ayahuasca.

Caapi is an MAOI ans is supposed to act as an antidepressant. There are people on DMT Nexus who have had some success with it. My mood has been kinda off so I want to see how this might help.

I enjoy ketamine but im skeptical about this research and I was surprised to see some in the comments section were as well. Even if I were to assume the science was sound, I don't find it very sexy information. They are trying to make derivatives of ketamine that dont get you high ... Do you get a hard on when you think of bromo-LSD?

 

LOL GB. Bromo-LSD does give a hardon to the several migraine sufferers and one single cluster headache sufferer I have encountered in my travels. They imagine a day, a sorryass workday, one where they were up late the previous night with horrible pain but were able to medicate and are now at work and NOT tripping, just the way they wanted it. . . . anyway. . . . yeah big business tweaking Ketamine's structure to make a whole new class of "ask your doctor" drugs with endless bizarre caveats (may cause changes in mood or behavior, kill your husband NOW, etc.) is not exactly sexy.

It's hard to match you two (GB and SC) in cynicism, and I can't even begin to join in the chemical minutiae with you.
Seems from my side K gets a bad rap so I found it interesting. One reason K can be messed with so easy is it isn't a taboo sched 1 drug. But the heart of the story wasnt about analogues, and it doesn't have to be such a negative thing that research is at least being done.
Besides, how better to get something out there if they find some versions that don't get them high? It's not all "Shulgin was good, Pharma biz is bad"
