MDA is more trippish while MDE sorta leaves you without a peak, right?

 

thanks dude. i'd love to get the chance to work with a therapist with mdma, but i doubt that will ever happen.

 

I weighed out my MDMA doses a few nights ago. Hopefully I'll be tasting some of it tonight. I was planning on doing about 140mg but then I look at the page in PiHKAL and the range is just 80mg-150mg, so I decided I'm going to use 120mg. Hoping I can see what direction I should be taking in life that best fits me.

Right now I have feelings for someone I know isn't interested in me in that way. I'm also hoping I can learn what to "do" with those feelings. Usually with time they go away, hopefully it won't get worse.

 

^^^shulgin's ranges are usually a bit low. i would go with 140 mg at least. it's not gonna be overly intense (i think).

so what psychedelics would you take or have you taken at a concert?
i've taken LSD at several concerts, but i'm saving my LSD for more special occasions. also, LSD can get a little too intense for a concert...i've lost my cool a couple times from that. i've taken 2cb and 2ce each once a concert, and those times were much less intimidating. i enjoyed 26 mg 2cb at built to spill, though it was a somewhat weak trip. i don't think i would ever trip on 2cb in silence! music sounds too good on it.
4-aco-dmt is not for public IME, so 2cb seems like the best choice.

maybe you think 25i/25c would be better for a concert?

 

Definitely interesting. I feel like the 2C-B must have kicked in during that show without me realizing it.. unless the gel cap somehow got stuck and didn't dissolve along the way. I am pretty sure part of the reason the show felt so awkward for my friend and I is that we were in fact feeling the -b.. just that it was so background it was impossible to pinpoint.

It was surprisingly visual, and at times I felt like I was legitimately tripping, but the whole time just suspended in euphoria. It lasted a good 6-7 hours too. Also, I only dosed 100mg in order to share some with friends. It was plenty strong. I'm excited to have another dose left

 

You could be surprised dude, especially living in Canada. I don't know if you've heard about all the work and research MAPS have been doing with MDMA... it's growing in popularity and slowly gaining a reputation as a fantastic tool for PTSD.

IMO PTSD is paving the way for other treatements...

 

yeah i think the effectiveness for PTSD really makes it hard to write-off as just a recreational drug. even oprah's magazine did a big article on it.

 

Just realized I've been smoking sativa trying to sleep. I didn't even think about it, but this is green crack. I have a strong indica too. I can't believe I didn't think of that.

 

i'm jealous. green crack is one of the better strains that i've ever had.

Yeah exactly. They are starting to use it on soldiers alot. It's like a weird paradox. The financial strain that those PTSD soldiers are having on the man is forcing them to stop ignoring the obvious benefits of some of those substances... now if they could only trip a few times themselves to help make them realize how meaningless these wars are.....

I wish I would get to know what I smoke. I just usually have good weed, never know what strain or even wether it's indica or sativa...

 

MDA is more trippy, MDE has a stoning peak that lacks the rush of MDMA.

Most of the time it's pretty difficult for me to fall asleep right after I smoke weed. My mind won't slow down enough.

 

^^same for me. weed often seems like a mild stimulant for me.


i just read something online about smoking sativa in the morning and indica in the evening. made me think how cool that would be to be able to do that. i'm like shivaya, i know the difference between good weed and really good dank stuff, but i usually don't know the name or i'm skeptical if i am told a name when i buy it.

 

Its great to have that option. But 999/1000 times if someone tells you they have a sativa ther are bsing you. No commerical grower would ever grow sativas, because the average flower time for them is 130 days. Your average indica flower time is 55 days. They could harvest 3 crops in the time of one.
im not saying its not out there,but unless you know the grower its unlikely.
In mmj states its adifferent story.

 

i agree. but most strains seem to be a hybrid of sativa and indica. most are probably indica dominant, for the reason you stated. i also thought that indicas tend to grow larger, another plus for growers.

 

For about the past year, 95% of the buds I get are Sativa or Sativa dominant hybrids. I much prefer a Sativa when it comes to recreation but damn, there's never any Indica in sight when I want to smoke a bedtime bowl. Sativas tend to keep me awake a lot of the time as well

 

Indica has a much better yield and they look better. most pure sativas are not dense at all. They are loose& airy buds. And the price isusually much higer. Afoaf gets 200$ a 1/4oz for his homegrown super silver haze. And always is sold out before he even harvests.
