is this with nasal administration?

did you have nose surgery? i seem to recall something like that. i have a deviated septum, and i snorted tiny amounts of 2ce, ~ 5 mg or so, and nothing really happened. i believe that since my nose is so fucked up on the inside that it didn't really absorb, or i didn't snort it far enough up maybe...probably not the issue with larger amounts of powder like with MXE.

 

Haha nice man! I saw them live last year? Just recently I think near the end of fall 2011. They're great live! I'm not biggest minus the bear fan, but they pull of their songs well live, still love knights!

 

No one wants to sell it because it would have a high chance of many trainwreak experiences given how irresponsible most RC takers are; no scales, terrible settings, mixing without research, etc. Do you know what would happen to america if DPT were suddenly sold beside bath salts? i'm sure its on par with ayahuasca or even more severe and significant. very fringe market even among psychedelic users

Nobody takes it. Nobody likes it.

I realize that DPT is not the same thing, but as far as intensity goes, as far as how bad kids uploading stupid shit to the internet goes, it's probably like a shorter-duration salvia.

Some people would love it, some would hate it, many would not take it because of the bad times.

Very intense psychedelics are limited in the scope of their societal effects (other than positive for people, negative for law and policy) because once people learn how powerful they REALLY are, they don't take them (or never take them again).

Remember that most people are NOT up for the psychedelic experience, and many of those who are have no fucking clue what it's about...... most people who drink "lean" think it makes you "trip", just for example.

 

I'm the one with the broken nose (maybe pop too, but we talked about this before me and you) however I have no problems putting drugs in there.

Nope. DPT is ~3 hours, salvia is what.. 15 minutes? I can definitely see a lot more people freaking out if they were to snort way too much DPT rather than a salvia trip which is over rather quickly.

That is, 3 hours is the insufflated duration. Smoking DPT is probably much shorter, more like DMT in duration or so?

 

I prefer psychedelics that gradually build up in intensity , I can't see myself doing DPT.

 

Yes. I was about to say, to the average user, DPT is not something they would just pick up for lolz. DPT literally will steal your face right off your head. A good few years back now a friend and I invested in some and both started out at doses of 200mg. DPT is on another level as far as tryptamines go. Amazing substance, so intense, so sublime.

 

Yeah, i found that ingesting 200mg up the nose, and then proceeding to lie down on my bed and explore the universe and further was pretty adequate. Im SURE if it was more available that people would be driving on it, and doing all sorts of other ridiculous things.

 

Haha when I first heard about DPT, I came on here and talked about how I think maybe DPT was a good plan for my first psychedelic because it was intense and short-lasting.

There'd probably be several incidents with individuals freaking out on powerful mind altering chemicals causing them to run around naked, shout obscenities and exhibit strange behavior involving police intervention.... Oh wait a minute that already does happen.

 

i saw them two summers ago at the same venue. i took some 2ce before going and they mixed very well i took my buddy who never heard of them, and he didn't really enjoy the show. he is a big fan of cursive though, so he might go to this show with me too. and i might take a hit of acid this time.

you've tried DMT right? if so, i'm the same as you don't think i'll ever try DPT.

DPT lasts way longer than salvia, about 3 hours. It's also MUCH easier to take. Hell, salvia doesn't even work on some people their first time, or second time. Dosing is tricky, you need to inhale a lot of harsh burning plant matter like a champ and hold it, preferably multiple times. When you're smoking salvia, just like DMT, you can consciously choose to abort the ingestion of the product during the ingestion. In fact, this is so easy, that it's probably the greatest psychological barrier to proper dosage of DMT and salvia; having the willingness to keep smoking. But with snorting powder, it takes just a few seconds, and once its up your nose, theres no getting it out, and you are locked in for 3 hours of

DPT does build up gradually. The come up is a full hour, just like LSD, mushrooms, and many other psychedelics. The peak only lasts 1 hour, so if anything, using this logic that should be more reason to take it

I think those kinds of behaviors are typically either PCP or stimulant induced, although there HAVE been people who have acted in such ways on many other substances. Even sober obviously. But that's not what I meant, what I meant is that you'd have a lot of very, very scared kids who are very, very psychologically traumatized after buying a "trip powder" and its fucking DPT.

 

^Yah you're right, people getting misinformation about things like DPT onset time and stuff is a good way to cause psychological trauma.

Noobs and dense people can refrain from fully snorting a line or fail to use proper snorting techniques just as easy as smoking.

That aside, I think what I said is valid: most people don't understand the psychedelic experience, and this is because of the drug war mentality. When they learn that it's not about watching pink elephants gang-rape a unicorn or whatever, they get scared.

One quality hit of Salvia is far more intense than anything DPT has to offer under 50 mgs. I've only had one DPT trip thus far approach the intensity of Salvia. I think Salvia is more intense than my solo 5-meo-dmt trip as well but it may be just that I explored Salvia first.
