Damn. RIP Cosmo. Might I ask if you know what it was that killed him? Hopefully it wasn't one of the ridiculous drug combos that he was warned about so many times :/

His heart gave out, that's all his mom told me. Afaik no research chemicals were involved.

cosmo, i'll miss your crazy antics, your walls of text, and our conversations about music, especially built to spill since you were like the only person here that shares my love for them

Noooo. This is really unfortunate. I've had a few conversations with cosmo and always read his posts, and even though I didn't know him well at all, this deeply saddens me. It feels like I lost a friend because of the community here. I wish he would have heeded some of our warnings more, but that was the way he was. He did make progress in cleaning up though. I will miss him and his walls of text as well. RIP cosmo.

Tried my hand at laying 25i&c blotter for the first time tonight. It went semi-well. I will find out tomorrow if I was successful.

If you're selling it, make sure it's printed so that each one, or each block, is clearly labeled in such a way that nobody could re-sell it as LSD.

    Please.

    RIP Cosmoknot

I got to chill and roll and trip with him a few times. A very intelligent, unique person who definitely seemed troubled. As others mentioned, I wish he heeded some warnings some of us gave him but I hope he has found some peace.

So I am guessing that your attempt was successful? Was it a fairly easy process? I have been thinking about doing that myself but been kind of put off thinking I would royally screw something up.

I've been a bit scarce 'round these parts lately... Fuck I'm sorry to pop in to post and see the sad news of Cosmo's passing. Thank you for telling us GM.
My thoughts are that more than some, Cosmo lived life on 'his' edge. Many may disagree with some of it, some may look at his lifestyle with envy from their comfortable little 'safe zone' and still others may make his antics look like childs play. But I doubt few if any doubted his intelligence, his yearning to push boundaries, and that underneath it all lived a good soul.
    Namaste, Cosmo.
Here's a wall of text in rememberance (which I couldn't do near as well even if I try)
Pre-bump for the final days of preparation for departure to Burning Man, gawd only knows what I've gotten myself into. A part of my scarcity has been recovering from some sort of body ailment, a tight back muscle that went and went and went until it manifested into an inflamed something or another in the C5 neck vertebrae, ultimately pinching a nerve which promptly kicked my ass into submission. Nearly 3 weeks later and I still don't have proper feeling back in two left fingers. But... bla bla. Life. So, planning, scheming, communicating with people in the group i'm contributing too, trying to get my body recovered... August has been a trippy month and except for serious hydrocodone for 4 days, the trippy part has had nothing to do with drugs. Well, the occasional ale and tacos but, I digress.
Blast off shall be early sunday and by middle of the night there will be no phones, no internet, little safety net except for the camaraderie of my camp mates and Black Rock City. At this point I can confirm that there will be psychedelics, notably a long anticipated dance with Lucy, and another night either some aces and/or Bees, very likely some dancing of the erotic and horizontal kind with a lovely Castillian lady from Madrid who has chosen to be my travel buddy, and what I'm sure will be an overwhelming, overpowering dose of beauty, psychedelia and humanity. I hope to catch a talk scheduled to be given by Rick Doblin, a workshop on integrating and benefiting from psychedelic experience, and of course more music and art than I can handle. It's been a rocky couple of months not just for feeling physically sub par but because one thing that happens when I spend to much time with my eyes open at the world around me is my heart hardens in disgust at so much ugliness and bullshit going on around and all the ostriches with their heads in the ground that just don't care. I've seriously got to get around some hip beautiful people and give my head a break.
Life for us is so damned short, whether your Cosmo or Phylis Diller... 40 years or 95, it passes fast.

    :sunny:
