Dude, I'm jazzed for you! I didn't know you were pursuing growing your own, that's pretty cool and I like the zen approach. (if it's meant to be.... )
I'm one to say maybe shrooms aren't the best first experience because they can be rough but IME that tends to be with a solid dose. They can be tricky buggers. Hopefully your first will be mellow enough to avoid chaos, but strong enough to be a positive intro. Sending positive vibes your way. :2thumbsup:

 

I took 3.5 grams of mushrooms for my first trip, it was intense but I do not regret taking mushrooms as my first trip or that dose one bit.

I gained a tremendous respect for mushrooms on that trip and learned tons of new aspects about myself and the relationship humans have had with entheogens. I recommend higher inital doses as I think the shock to the system and your beliefs is the best way to turn onto psychedelics, just have respect for them and take care of set and setting.

 

I doubt that I'm gonna take that for my first time, I dont even think I'm gonna do an eight. I'm being cautious here haha

My first trip was also mushrooms, and I thought it was a great intro into psychedelics, I did an eighth after doing some erowid research when I was 18 and at the time I had only ever smoked pot and I had only been doing that for a couple of months tops. The experience was amazing. But in retrospect I wouldn't advise a dose that high for a first trip cause I have since had some pretty intense 3 and and even 2 gram experiences. I really love that you are growing your own man, going to make it that much more special!

very interesting, very natural feeling. it almost seems cliche, but it felt just like a dream. as far as a trip report for my largest set of tokes;
Three *good sized tokes, sat back and closed my eyes and started looking for obvious visuals. When i realized the visuals were not overtly obvious, i pretty much realized i wasn't about to break through, so i tried picking up on less obvious effects. i did see a slight mandala pattern right after hitting the pipe, but it wasn't as intense as i had expected, so yea, i go looking for some other feeling within the experience, and realize there is this other way of looking behind your eyes, and it wasn't to focus on the information your eyes were feeding you, but rather feel for this energy. When i started trying to feel this energy and where it wanted to go/ what it wanted to do, i realized it was trying to leave through my face, causing a feeling of something like a bubble to expand out of my forehead. i could feel this energy trying to observe things in a different way, and instead of just using my eyes to see the back of my eyelids, i started seeing this white light when the bubble would pull further away from my face. the way i guess i interpret the bubble is my consciousness trying to pull away from my body and float off into space (or maybe just pop!). anyhow, i hit a pipe several times, but this was the most intense experience i had. i hope to break through soon, it is very un-intimidating. salvia seems like it might be doing much the same thing to you as dmt does, but only time will tell.

My first trip was on 2.5 grams of shrooms and I had a very nice spiritual life perspective changing trip. Mushrooms have never fucked with me as long as I trip by myself and have an open mind/heart, I have done up to 8 grams, things got shaky a few times but it all worked out.

 

i had something like 4-4.5 my first time...WAY too much, but it was an OVERWHELMINGLY positive experience. it changed my life in such a quantifiable way.. it's why i'm on here today

However, I was fucking my girlfriend and she was really horney and wanted sex really bad tonight and i went limp. She has self confidence issues and started crying and i ended up leaving with her mad at me :/

Yeah she cried after sex before because she thought she was ugly our first few times. All of her boyfriends have treated her badly in the past so I'm having to suffer the repercusions of that but we've gotten past that. Also, i don't always want to stay at her house because she has school and i don't lke waking up at 6 because SHE has to go to school. I saw no reason to stay while i was that fucked up and her being mad so now she's sad and mad. lol.... So we got in a fight.

It depends on the user. i did almost $50 dollars worth tonight to get sufficiently high. It was worth it for ME only because i can only get regular tramadol and you can only take so much before you seize. The effects are between morphine and hydro,oxycodone.
You get the relaxation+sedation of morphine;
and the nausea+itchiness and headbuzz of oxy/hydrocodone

However it has a somewhat dysphoric effect similar tohigh-doses of kratom. and its not 100x the potency of tramadol as some forums say.

I'm not sure I want to waste money on novelty crap like this but it is pretty cool and I think it'd be awesome to buy red rave contacts and those glow in the dark vampire teeth for the next party.

I just got outta the slammer for a petty, minor possession charge that all I hafta do (so far and hopefully all told) is go to AA or NA meetings for a few weeks to please the courts. So yeah. Just spent three and a half days in jail for a warrant for possession of a controlled substance. Kittie tranqs. Fuck it, at least that hellhole is behind me and staying there FOR GOOD.
S-Ket, man, I bet that judge ain't even heard of it. Thankfully too that (SO FAR) I have only to go to those meetings. Whew!
