I know psychedelics are less "drugs" than opiates and benzos but . . . they still are drugs. They still are escapes, even if it's an escape to "therapy" or an escape to "this time it'll be different".

I combined a weak dose of LSD with 70mg MXE and it was pretty amazing, to the point that I lost my marbles at one point and was trying to figure out just what the hell is going on, where am i, what day is it, why is everything so WEIRD

I parachuted the (eyeballed) 50mg of aMT and then about 3.5-3 hours later I took the tab of acid.

I think I'm going to write a TR about this one, because it REALLY caught me off guard. I was expecting the acid to just add some colours and maybe some tactile sensations, but it really added an entire other dimension to the trip and smacked me across the side of the head.

It was a definite +++ experience, and I was really happy with myself for being able to handle the unexpected power of the trip in a setting with multiple other people.

I think you should consume a higher dose if you want to get some decent effects - it took me 20g of dried Peruvian Torch to feel mild effects, and I would expect that doses are pretty similar.

 

i took 14 grams of Peruvian torch last week and had a solid trip. These cacti are harvested in Peru and are pretty strong. if I get a mild trip then i am satisfied, still recovering from my shroom trip on Friday.

 

Keep in mind that peruvian torch concentrations are frequently many orders of magnitude lower than pachanoi, at least as far as mescaline goes. Other alkaloid profiles are apparently reasonably different.

 

I can't wait! I know the venue is gonna blow up and this will be huge! I may even skip the NYE party which is called 'Get Sexed'. It will have Dj Miss B and Dj Rhiannon (both playmates and not half bad) and also Dj Spin and Beverly Skillz. Sounds like a bangin time.

I skipped taking the L that night and sooo glad I did because people were heckling my boy to play country all night. It was fiasco, I felt bad for him. Fuck the haters!

When I was tripping often I didn't fall back into that rut. I don't plan on tripping as much as I was but tripping reminded me that there is more out there for me than spending all my money, being broke and miserable, and spending all my time in a haze.

The cycle of addiction is rough. I'm not going to make excuses for myself, I've been weak and let it come back around but since detoxing this time It's really opened my eyes. I don't want to spend the rest of my time that I am blessed to have with my mother fucked up. I don't want to live with that regret... I don't think I could live with that regret.

The only reason I took that xanax was to stop me from grinding my teeth due to anxiety, not to get fucked up. I have cut all ties with the people that I associated with that had opiates in my face all the time and I am even getting weened off my klonopins. I think a trip every three months, maybe two and spending time with my true friends and family plus working my ass off will do me some good. Trust me, I am going all out to make sure I get over this. I can't live that way anymore, I really hit rock bottom (worse than ever before) and it's a shameful and terrible place to be.

I've made a list of goals that I plan on achieving and I know that will feel better than nights of opiated stupidity.

This is my life and I have control over it not dope. I really feel like I have awaken from a nightmare and I am grateful to my friend, my fiance, and everyone else that has given me advice and helped me out. You all have been truly amazing people here that have a heart to help out a complete stranger through a dark time. Thank you.

I will shine through, I will live my life to it's fullest potential, I will love, I will be happy, and leave that dark place in the dust to become a distant memory.

True that. I am having a profound trip on 8 grams, this trip feels alot different than my higher dose trips of P-torch, and Pachanoi (my 1st time using it) feels like a very different energy signature than Peruvian torch, maybe it's because of the dosage i don't know. I feel alot more in control of the trip, it feels softer and I was able to softly massage healing in the spots where it was showing me my stuckness. I was just sort of grinding my heart and stomach into my bed for several hours

I found that PT has FARRRRR more mescaline, even wiki agrees, so the various authors of that article entry dealee-o disagree here too. PT is a grand cactus, with any just like MHRB I find that the more finely ground, the better off you are.

I've never seen a chemical assay support this. I've seen several support the opposite. The particular one I'm thinking of puts PT at the very bottom of the list, more than 3% lower in mescaline than some SP, and higher than maybe one or two bottom of the barrel SP vars.

 

So I guess when taking cacti the only way to be precise in how much mesc you actually taking is by exctracting and weighing huh?

 

Can't wait to try Mescaline. There isn't much out there I haven't done. I think I would really enjoy Mescaline. It seems like my type of psychedelic.

 

Really, yeah. But also using distilled water, food grade lye, xylene (not xylol), whichever acid for your salt as they all make salts of different weight, proper temperatures for each stage of extraction, proper techniques like grinding the cactus flesh to micro-granules of powder, patience, and like growing weed or shrooms or extracting DMT, lab grade equipment AND! prepare to fuck up once, maybe twice first pulling.

I just weighed out a bunch of ground torch in a beaker tared out pre-cactus and boiled it in distilled water and lemon, I tripped 12 hrs. each time.
But since I had borosilicate everything, a thermometer on a clasp on an arm on a magnetic stirrer with a hot plate, a seperatory funnel...the works, I had it all and could've done it right, but raw torch, enough, is beautiful!

Yah but I've never had a San Pedro trip where I was worried that I took too much, it can get heavy at points and I have felt nauseous on it but it's such a fluid and positive oriented experience. Feels like soul medicine.

 

I read a discussion, I think it was on BL... Some were speculating that the other alkaloids in San Pedro sort of mask the mescaline to a degree and make it more chill feeling and that's why people assume Peruvian Torch has a higher mescaline content.
