Before I continue I'll just repeat what I said above about how it's different for every trip, and that my best example of this is with two 40mg 2c-b trips, one was full blown LSD-strength open eyed visuals, the next time a few weeks later was ZERO visual activity whatsoever, even closed eye, maybe at most a slight brightening of lights.

I find visuals are the last thing to come with a psychedelic dose, not in a temporal sense, in the sense of dosage. If what you're going for is visuals, you need to dose high high high, because first you've got to break through all those doses that give you a GREAT trip but with little visuals. So for me 40-50mg 2c-b is usually very very visual. 50mg I've only done once and it was something else. 2c-t-7 I had almost no effects from 25mg but 35mg gave me about as much visuals as 1 blue shiva, lots of rippling and moving and rainbow patterns and sizzling. now 4aces is a funny one . . . I find it minimally visual. In fact 40mg has regularly given me very VERY few visuals, and that seems to be a high to heroic dose. 50mg on the other hand was such a clusterfuck of cosmic happenings . . . the visuals were DMT/DPT strength, and the mindfuck was positively shizophrenic. I mention mindfuck here in this visual discussion because they can be hard to pry apart especially in the synesthetic environment of a psychedelic trip, and also because one potentiates the other. I think that's one reason 2c-b can be oddly non-visual, because it's also a VERY lucid drug, and this can sort of downplay the visual aspect if you feel more sober than you thought you would.

All in all this discussion has really made me realize how complicated and personal these psychedelic trips are and how damn hard it is to just say anything at all about them in a general sense.

 

That kind of TV programming and shows on Netflix are my favorite things to watch on MXE. Any kind of shows were there are plots are characters, even cartoons, seem hella intense and overy serious. I don't like it.[/QUOTE]

Nah, I ended up at a friends house. The guy I met up with at the 'Nectar show. We drank and I had a few kpins and neurontins in me so I was feelin damn good.

He put on a mini DJ set for us, that was awesome.

LOL I did end up nodding out back at the house for a few hours sitting on the couch with my notebook on my lap. I 'woke up' and realized the sun was coming up and was like damn! Because when I nod out, may be the same for everyone that has nodded out from opies, things in your head go on as if your still awake. So yeah, I was pretty gone.

Gotcha. Ya I didn't mention to consider all the variables but just relay your experience in general. But interesting the same substance and dose was so wildly different for the same person.

A higher amount is on my list too. Hopefully what I have keeps well for awhile.

And 40 is where it really kicked in for me. CEVs were brilliant. The main reason I kept my eyes closed for awhile was due to how much I love to soar in my mind with good tunes blaring. The light show was just a side dish compared to the main course. 50 is on my future agenda.

My thoughts are similar. The times I've had strong visuals the mindfuckery was pretty strong. The 1/8 shrooms and strong 4 aces experiences were similar in that respect.

It is, you do a good job of it though, partly why I asked. It seems to me maybe a big part of why I don't put importance on visuals is due to wanting to create certain mental landscapes that aren't neccesarily hard trips. I have interest in hard edged trips only due to curiosity, not because I get any "work" done. It's like my bike riding, I want to ride well, going fast isn't the goal. But going faster and riding well is, well, pretty damned fun.

@voyage: Do a 50 mgs 2ct7 day trip. That produces some very intricate and detailed visual OEV patterning and it goes well with the euphoria and duration of 2ct7 and the Closed Eye visuals are pretty amazing as well.

My vendor just restocked this flour-like consistensy new batch to replace the other crap for only 25/g so i cant wait to try it. Most of the mxe out there is like salt cranules. this is solid white powder like baking powder

 

Nice looking blotters Ganjabeliever, I always kind of expected them to be white on white for some reason but those look nice and trippy, too bad you misplaced them! I recently stubled upon what is confirmed to be a reliable vendor carrying 25c and 25d blotts but it says nothing about being complexed with HPBCD. If I remember correctly I believe you said that they are useless if they are not complexed. Am I remembering correctly?

Also BUMP for completing my first transaction with an online vendor after a solid moth of researching and searching the net. Was rewarded with 500mg 2c-e and couldn't be happier to not get ripped off!

I've only tried up to 35mg MXE at one time. I think I'm ready to try higher if it's worth it.

Is there a reason you suggest daytime? Does T7 produce much pupil dilation? That's a big reason why I like low light for trips but not all things dilate the pupils like lucy.

 

just wanted to agree with voyage and writer that the best way to describe LSD is "sense enhancement." sometimes i won't get too much visual morphing/swirling/breathing, but i'll just get super-vision. i will be able to see every bug in the grass, see every leaf on a tree, see....AIR!
but i've also gotten some intense visuals on LSD - mostly seeing things in other things (like a woman, in a painting of a tree), and TRACERS.

i've always thought 2ce and LSD visuals were pretty similar, but they probably aren't THAT similar. there just the two i have most of my experience with. 2ce visuals are more chaotic and sparkly....but LSD can be sparkly too.

i have at least once (on ~1.4 red shivas) seen tiny black dots in a pure blue sky. the dots then turned into tiny rainbows! it was insane. i've also seen a "psychedelic net" overlaying everything at night (on 2 red stars) which made it kinda hard to walk.

mostly rambling, but maybe you can take something away from that, popularity. i'm excited for your date with Queen Lucy

 

I have not checked my pupils on 2ct7, but the trip has a warmth to it that is similar to mescaline, and the colors are extrodinarily vibrant during the day on 2ct7.
