Try taking a quarter of one next time you go to school/work you'll feel it. I find the effects about as strong as a cup of coffee + anti-depressant + slight visuals. throw in a strong dose of any other drug and kablam.

 

That planet earth series was excellent stuff. Had my last shroom trip watching part of an episode, the mountain one. I don't remember if I relayed the story. I was watching a part where in the background was the swiss alps, the big flatscreen was almost completely white. I tiny spider started walking across the screen. I paused the movie to try to get a fix on what I was seeing and in a matter of seconds, BLAM! The shrooms went from "eh" to "DAMN!!!"

Bump for speed and marathon sex last night (every bit as psychedelic as chems ) :2thumbsup: Sped again tonight and saw Ray Manzarek and Robby Krieger from The Doors play with a vocalist and band they are playing with...super amazing! Both (and the band) were fantastic (especially considering age!), Doors have been my fav since I was a wee one and they nailed it, great time.

 

I've been baseline, as far as I can tell, for 2-4+ hours, other than the fact that my wall won't stop breathing.... ehh....

I feel like I have the biggest misconception of lsd and I can't wait to try it out so I can finally see.
Are the visuals anything to compare with any sort of rc? I always pictured lucy to be in a whole different ballpark, with vivid oev's like making something completely out of nothing, like an hallucination, rather than swirling colors and shifting shadows like 2c-e and aces...
I've always revered LSD as the mother of all, and I picture it and mushrooms to be totally different from rc's.
I've sort of considered my "researching" just a warm-up.

 

I'm sorry I don't recall which things you've experienced, and I'm not sure I'm the best on to comment but here's my experience. I'm not one that has alot of visuals. In recent times the strongest I've had was with ~50mg of 2ce and another time with 1/8 of shrooms. And neither time would I say they were as strong as some people describe however both of those times I tripped really hard. I don't believe LSD "makes something completely out of nothing", I've never had it happen and I've never read it happening in reputable scientific literature but it can morph what is there. In Hofmanns book about LSD he describes alot of that in his first real trip. As with alot of experiences it's very hard to describe, but the best word I can come up with is it "amplifies" everything. Everything is so much "more". Sights, sounds, touch, taste. I lack the vocabulary to relay the experience. But one thing I've said often, it's all about what's between your ears. For me it's not about the visuals.

I agree with this wholeheartedly. I've had some worthy experiences on other things but LSD is the pinnacle.

Around about three years ago I'd just been evicted, though not legally cuz of red tape from my lawyer. I drove from Oakland to Boise in February. Before the eviction I'd been shooting and snorting dope, snorting and smoking yay, smoking crack, thizzling on pills, stoned 24/7...
Just fucking up and fucking off. Went a little nuts, was 5150'ed to rehab. After that hell, I stayed with my dad in rural Idaho. Shortly into my stay my grandfather died and when helping clean up and pack up the house I found a box of fentanyl patches. The first two times smoking it I blacked out and came to a little delirious to find my father hovering over me. What made both those events so awful having just been in rehab was the day of the funeral when I decided to take like 400mg morphine, 40mg Dilaudid, and 12mg Klonopin and I fell all over the chairs at the grave site and went on the nod and apparently mumbled and drooled.

Not some finer moments in my path through life. Anyway I think I can relate.

I suggest reading Less Than Zero, The Pugilist At Rest, The Fuck-Up, Jesus' Son, Requiem For A Dream, Trainspotting, Naked Lunch, Edward Gorey books, Lemony Snicket books, Fahrenheit 451, Do Electric Sheep Dream?, and Brave New World and watch the darkest shit on TV while going through withdrawal. Then when you relapse you'll be jaded enough not to give a shit or feel guilt...for a while anyway. You probably know that routine a bit as it is.

Drugs are there to help problems. Dope, yay, benzos and thizzles just so happen to help best.

On high dose LSD I've seen a blue sky & clouds in a bedroom, I saw banners running from tree to tree, and I became an electron racing through the circuits of a microchip. LSD can do such things indeed. I find tryptamines do too but that few PEA's can or do really induce such visions.

First this is hard to talk about because not only is every trip with every drug quite different, but this is especially true with the most complex of them all, LSD. You can have trips of the same dosage that vary from minimally visual to overwhelmingly visual. With that said, the RC's I've tried that had visuals most similar to LSD are probably DPT, DOC 2C-T-7 and 2C-B. Actually nexus flipping (barely, like 100mg mdma + 7mg 2c-b) was very (low dose) LSD-esque. The color brightening and softening of MDMA + the 2c-b gentle beautiful visuals.

Not really, it's still a lot of swirling colors and shifting shadows and rainbow textures . . . with higher doses you do start to get very powerful suggestions, where an object can simultaneously look like 5 different things at the same time, and no matter how hard you look at it, it just won't collapse into any one of those single things . I find the visuals from mushrooms et al to be much, much more intense than LSD, like on a different level completely, but it might be because of the mindfuck component as well. LSD is comparatively lucid/sober compared to a big mushroom trip. Not to downplay the mental component of lucy at all, which is the real show.

Wait you haven't done mushrooms either?? Mushrooms on the other hand are not totally different from many widely available rcs like 4-aco-dmt and 4-ho-met . . . there are so many tryptamines out there and they all share a lot in common. Mushrooms have a particularly confusing/random quality to them though.

Your question was all about the visuals but you should know that while each psychedelic has its own wonderful flavor of visuals, its the head trip that really shines, and LSD is indeed queen mother of that imo. It also, as Voyage pointed out, has the LSD-unique effect of enhancing everything; the doors to your senses are blown apart and suddenly you are experiencing the world in HD x 1,000, you see for the first time, you hear for the first time, you touch for the first time, you think for the first time . . . it really is a Matrix type situation if dose, set and setting all align to give you one of those life-shaking "awakening" LSD experiences .

 

It doesn't make sense does it? The sad part was, ] i was since i was on 60 mg of pseudoephedrine which made it impossile to finish but this girl was amazing. I've never had anything like that before. I had my eyes closed and was seeing kaleidascopes and colors while my , well you know the rest. IT was mind-blowing.

And I'm not sick today either.

I'm still really upset about my grandmother but having a someone to talk to helps. Also my grandmother's husband (my grandad) is in the hospital. His cancer is getting worse and his liver is failing. This just further disproves my beliefe in god. There may be A god but not as these baptist and catholics view him as. Theres just been so much bullshit its almost overwhelming but the benzos have really helped me stay calm and my daily dose of Gabapentin keeps my mind happy and upbeat. I'm not gonna start going crazy on opiates or anything. but when major depression hits i do dabble in the MXE (usually only a gram a month but more recently) to numb everything and forget about reality. Maybe when all this is over and i'm feeling better and have completely accepted the situation i may dabbe in a hallucinogen but for now i'm just recovering from my horrible HORRIBLE series of events. I just appreciate you guys letting me say how i feel on here about my drug use without harsh judgement. Sometimes letting it all out helps and it definately does in this case.

Anyays, Today im going to a beethoven symphony with my girl and trying to just relax without any substances (other than a low-dose of etiz of course Thanks fellow psychonauts for the support.

 

Ok, so, I'm curious. I relate to you alot so maybe this would give me a comparison. At what amount of say, 2cb 2c-t-7 and 4 aco dmt would you say give you notable oevs/cevs ? If you don't mind.

As a reference, the most beautiful, colorful one i've had were inside my eyes, on 40mg 4 aco. (the highest i've done) Followed by a 1/8 mushrooms (very similar visuals) also closed eyes. Both of those were minimal oevs, enhanced colors, tracers, little bits of rainbows. On my biggest 2c-e trip I recall the letters scrambling around on the computer screen like little bugs, and much of the same types of things as above. That was 50mgs and a fairly strong ride, comparable at times to an 1/8 of shrooms.
35mg of 2cb at shpongle gave me none whatsoever, (not that there wasn't enough to see anyhow ) but nice enhancement. 25mg of 2c-t-7, same.
I don't downplay visuals because I don't get alot of them, I just feel that it's not the highlight of an experience. I'm curious (having not tripped with many people lately) how much more you have than I with similar trips.
