A break for me too, maybe through the holidays. 35mg of 2C-b and Shongle was a highlight in my year of reintro to psyches and now that the weather has been cold/rainy, I'm content to chill.

Speaking of shrooms, this friend brings over a little chocolate heart, with shrooms in it. She'd told me she was given some shrooms in choc and somehow I thought it would be like, a choc bar? It's about an inch wide, heart shaped. She's interested in having an experience and we've talked about it a little and I kind of feel like a teacher. No way could this thing have enough in it to be a trip, unless it was completely ground to powder and maybe 1/3 choc and the rest shroom. Even then... it doesnt seem like much.
I suggested she needs to get more info from the source as to contents and quantity.
Ever run across something like this?

 

i've heard of shroom chocolates before, but never seen them. kids in my town talked about small molded chocolates like that, with half an eighth in each(?)

you took 35 mg 2cb for that shpongle concert? how did i not know this? was that your first time taking -b? how'd you like it?

 

Shrooms in chocolate ? Sound like a better idea than washing them down with a beer, which is my usual method.

All you would need is a large amount of chocolate, two pots to make a double boiler and something for a mold. If you wanted to get really fancy, you could throw in pecan chunks too. I may have to try this.

 

i've always wondered if there is sufficient phenethylamine in the chocolate to cause a synergistic effect with the 4-xx-dmt in in mushrooms

 

I've heard that it works with mescaline, but I don't know if it's true or bs.

 

it would make sense, as there are some MAO-b inhibitors in most of the cacti extracts that get passed as "pure mescaline"

mr.writer once said something about taking syrian rue, and then gorging on super dark chocolate being a worthwhile experience.

 

This one is small enough, I can't imagine it has that much. It's about an inch square. I've read of choc shrooms alot, must be the in thing.

Actually I'm not sure if i mentioned it, I didn't write much about it. T'was good, it was the second time, first was ~30. I wouldn't say it's awesomely better than E, but it doesn't give me the GI problems E does so I felt it would be better for a show. I was first tempted to do some Lucy and took a hit along so I had it in case I decided, but after scoping out the town, hotel, etc, I decided I didn't want to be awake all night and really, I didn't want to be too trippy, I wanted to be grounded enough to soak up the whole experience. I dropped before we walked to the show, so by the time we got in I was coming up nicely, and by the time Shpongle came on I was floating back down nicely in afterglow, potentiated by the most psychedelic setting imaginable so the trip continued awesomely from just the music, the amazing theater and the show.
I think with the presence of mind, creating the right set, one could trip mildly nice just with that. It was out of this world.

I've read the common opinion is that there isn't enough PEA in chocolate to be discernable, but ya it didn't occur to me that a micro dose of PEA combined with mushrooms might. Interesting thought Shermin.

Oh wow I thought you were on a hit of acid, 2cb seems like a good choice for the costumes they were decked out in and the ambiance of the music and the venue.

 

Ya, I thought so too, it was a good length and with 2 beers later on I slept good. I didn't want to be up all night and then drive all day.
It made your mini light show pretty twinkly.

 

Yah, I prefer light shows on PEA's and 2cb is one of the best for em.

 

voyage, other than the GI problems with 2ce, do you prefer the 2ce trip to that of 2cb?

i think i might re-visit 2ce for my next trip. wait til december or january on a nice winter day.

Indeed! I absolutely agree. It made the Shpongletron and Bassnectar shows even more fantastic.

 

I can't say that... they are similar, just different flavors. It's hard to come up with the right adjectives, for me E feels a little more hard, a bit more compressed and intense whereas B is more soft and wide ranging. I'd like to explore it in the ~50 range as I feel it could be a substantially deeper experience. 35 provided a nice ambiance, I suspected Shpongle wasn't in need of enhancement, which proved true.
With a solid E dose I'm content to journey inside, close my eyes and get lost in music and thought. B is more open, suitable for being around people. So I'd say the choice is best made with setting in mind.

Solid man! That is on the top of my list for future experiences. I've done 40 and it was massively psychedelic. Do tell us how it goes!
