a lot of people have reported a "filmy" residue left over in the spoon that was only sparsely water soluble, where as the MXE itself was HIGHLY water soluble. any idea if the same is true for your "purer" batch?

if no residue in the "purer" batch, this would imply a LARGE SCALE botched synth that could be nasty..

I got felt up by a Chinese kid who couldn't have been over 20 on the bus in NYC. I didn't know what to do, so I just let it happen. Part of me (a small part of me) thought of how hot would it to grab this kid and go somewhere alone and get down to business?, while the larger part of me thought of how disgusting that would be afterwards, not because the kid was ugly (quite the contrary, approaching to gorgeous), but because of how sacred sex is to me and the opinion I have of myself aftewards. If I'm not in love, I just can't bring myself to do it, and there have been many awkward close calls that I've had to back out of at the last moment, on occasion politely, but more often then not unintentionally in a rather unpleasant manner. And how do you apologize for something like that?

So I rode along listening to Thursday Afternoon by Brian Eno through the city with this kids hand on my thigh and his leg warpped around mine, waiting for the moment when the bus would stop and I'd get up and say, with a light in my eyes, "excuse me, please". Which I eventually did, half heart broken over the boys very possible feelings of rejection. A big prolem with expressing homosexual desires is that, well, for example, had I been a girl this would have most likely ended in a slap and a rearrangement of seats, or else it would have started off by him expressing his feelings out loud, without fear of the reactions of everyone tightly packed in around us. Very often I'm approached by gay people with the assumption that I'm most likely a whore, for whatever reasons I can't understand because I do not (often ) dress or hold myself in this way.

 

Maybe I didn't read far enough into that thread but I don't see a reason to suspect that MXE is the culprit. People are complaining of some pretty toxic symptoms including massive muscle pain and convulsions, delusions, and are generally acting very retarded when I find MXE is very spacey and relaxed. I have never heard these effects mentioned from MXE use, even overdoses. Secondly, I can't help but notice that all the people who are getting their ass handed to them by mystery ketamine and MXE are people who use drugs in very dumb ways; huge, repeated doses, often on their first time with the substance, in public, mixing with alcohol, weed, and god knows what else . . . in other words I don't really read the "guy snorted "K" and tried to eat a seat on a public bus" post as "OMG MXE is teh devil", but rather as "what kind of idiot does a huge dose of drugs on a public bus and then tries to eat a seat?"

I think that this is more of an interesting sociological phenomena, a certain subtype of drug users being mixed with a certain drug (if it is even MXE), that simply does not have the same kind of effects and behavioral-alteration potential as ketamine, yet they all blindly assume it's Ketamine 2.0 and continue their self-crippling abuse of it.

From that erowid TR you posted, one line stands out for me as truly capturing the immaturity of the poster; "With Ketamine I know where I am, it lasts 20 mins and yes fucks your bladder up etc but its not going to kill me."

Just lol. First of all, yes, it can kill you, that's what fucking up your bladder can do. You might not drop dead like when cocaine fucks up your heart, but it will cut DECADES off your life. Second, the "lol, bladder" attitude . . . the kind of user that knows they are causing irreversible organ damage to themselves and keeps doing it enthusiastically is the kind of user who can't handle MXE. There is nothing wrong with MXE, there is nothing wrong with PCP. They are just bad drugs for people who already have maturity and self-control issues.

Casual ketamine abuse is I think one of the hidden destructive forces in a surprising number of youth in this generation.

I don't use needles, I only snort MXE. I can say though that my less pure batches are more floury and smell almost like baby powder, while my really potent batch has much more of a chemical taste to it and is a bit more granular.

The UK has a binge problem with Ketamine, it's very cheap in large amounts and everywhere. People begin sniffing large large amounts, new stuff turns up and people just sniff like normal and are fucking up due to it being cut. Unlike drugs like Coke and Heroin there is info about this sort of thing and people dying from doing their normal dose as it was super pure.

people have been getting super pure k over here and tolerance making it do very little so are used to sniffing like mad, now India has been clamping down on K people have starting cutting k with crap.

Maybe the one report you read on the thread i linked wasn't as you think MXE to be but there have been actual reports of people cutting MXE up to make it like k so it is certainly happening. 'Where has all the k gone' threads keep popping up from UK people in the last 2 months.


But anyway yes people need to be more responsible but some responsible people are getting not what they bargained for when they ingested k.


for me i'm glad the k is drying up, barely done any for ages feel great. still got links for the real stuff though.

Bump for ~20 mgs of dried powdered San Pedro in about a half hour. Hoping to get a mild trip from it.


P0ly it's good to make us all aware of these incidents. We probably don't have quite the ketamine epidemic here in the U.S. but it is frequently used. Mxe deserves all the scrunity of things like mdpv/mephedrone. I have listed negative effects, you have discussed negative effects of disassociatives before and I've seen negative effects on mxe talked about elsewhere throughout the web. It's good to get the information out there. Mxe is a potent drug and while it can be used safely and early on it had plenty of praises for it's 'anti-depressive' qualities, it certainly has the potential for damage and the bad should be reported as well. Anyone who thinks otherwise, needs to pull their head out of their ass and listen to people who have actually dealt with these type of drugs before, addiction and have tested them at various dose ranges. Mxe and similar drugs encourage compulsive use, higher and higher dosing and mixing with other drugs, that's just the reality of it.

 

I'll give that a try one day. Like I said, I have yet to try aMT so I will try it alone before I go mixing it with anything. But from what I have read about aMT it sounds nice and I'm sure B would add an interesting kick, like you said.

Awesome. I have been planning on a grow but have never got around to it. It's been 5 years since I have any shrooms and 9 years before that which is silly seeing how I can just grow them myself.

 

Mescaline Ice Cream! I must say by far the most bearable way I've consumed this stuff. If the taste is any indication of what the trip will be like, I'm in for a doozy.

 

How much San Pedro per person would one need for a proper trip? No chemical extraction or anything, just cutting it up and boiling it down. I have a tek bookmarked somewhere on how to do it.

 

2 feet works for me, some say that's mild, some say that's too much for a first time. The mescaline content varies dramatically between specimens. I know you could handle it tho, it's a very flowing, gentle and introspective experience.

The nausea sort of creeps up before the effects get overly intense that's why I wouldn't recommend a higher dose.

The colors, the richness of the animation, the SONGS are epic (normally I don't like disney songs that much), the humor is epic, the facial expressions are comical and exaggerated, and the pace of the story and action is unreal! Volupta enjoyed it a lot but wants to do 40mg next time as she found it underwhelming. I did as well, could be this batch perhaps. Had a rough come up with lots of nausea and an accusatory nature, then changed into a calm, clean trip full of warmth, laughter and arousal. marathon sex on 4aces . . . possibly better than bee :X

 

I'm a bit worried. I've had swollen lymph glands for a long time. We're talking maybe 4-5 months. I think I first noticed them after I had smoked too many cigarettes and got sick from them. Then when they didn't go down I figured it was because I kept smoking weed and on average a cigarette per day. But now it's been about 6 weeks without a puff of smoke and they're still large ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

 

From my reading it is highly dependent on the source, different growing conditions, harvest time, etc can drastically alter alkaloid content so I hear. I've never tried fresh, but from what I've read, and like GB mentioned, 2-3 feet seems to be good. I've taken powder from 3 different sources, ranging from 30-70 grams and have only had one strong +1 bordering to +2 effects. Also have done a crude alcohol extraction of roughly 80 grams of powder which seemed to have even less effects of just consuming the raw powder.

So you got to dip back into your 4aces Funny about Volupta... that it's so mild to nearly nothing for some people. The three times I've heard that it's all been girls. GM, Volupta and this weekend I saw a show with a friend and it was to be her first time. It was about 22 and she basically had no result. She said maybe like having one strong beer. Very odd.
That was only one part of a completely fail evening out.... ah well.

So I am getting mild effects from the mescaline, definitely perceptible as well, accompanied with some mild nausea. Music sounds good, I feel like my eyelids have have been slightly tinted or something but my vision is not really affected.

 

Sand Pedro is pretty easy to find at plant nurseries, right? I have yet to look but from what I read they said it should be but it may have an old entry.
