Good ol' fashion bump. 25mg MXE. I can't believe how high some of you take this stuff. I guess I use it casually though.

 

No, I didn't actually make the show. I wish I would have though. I didn't really care for the opening acts and I knew it would be a ton of teenagers (I sound like an old fart) so I sat this one out. It looked badass!. I have Bassnectar coming up on the 28th though and a Rave this weekend possibly then Pusicfer in November (TNS, since we'll be in your neck of the woods maybe we can hookup n hang out).

I've been around for a long time and I've never heard that one. True.

I'm linking this whole discussion with and about TNS with another discussion a few weeks back when Writer wrote at length about the dangers of pushing so many limits so much of the time. I don't see much in the way of judgment about the people who are going so fast - but there is a lot of concern for the inevitable consequences of the behavior.

I bought a skrillex ticket in hopes of selling it for more cash, but if I didn't I would still get to go.
I decided to take my $35 profit. I knew it'd be super packed; rave type deals aren't so much my thing either.

 

I like the 'rave' type shows in Nola. I miss when they had real raves at The State Palace Theater. The one this weekend is at what used to be a goth club in Nola. I haven't been to that club in years though so I don't know what it's like anymore.

I just didn't wanna be around a bunch of kids at the Skrillex show. I mean, it was 18+ but after seeing the crowd the show in Feb drew, It was a bunch of moshing loud annoying teens, I just wasn't interested. I mean how the fuck you gonna mosh to dubstep? Why?!

 

That's all electro right there, I have heard dubstep bits and parts from him before though.

Moshing to electronic music seems strange to me just cause I usually associate it with sense enhancing drugs, maybe give me some Mxe or something and I could probably mosh to hardcore or mosh to dubstep so I don't have to listen to it.

I dunno I moshed to 'Island in the Sun' when I saw Weezer when I was a youngin.

 

i HATE moshing. i didn't pay money to repeatedly get bumped up against by sweaty dudes.

The 2ci definitely works, haha. 35mg was really cool. I personally enjoy the stimulation. Makes you feel like your rolling face. The visuals in the dark were actually super intricate. I felt I was in a kaliedescoped vortex. I took it kinda late. Like 9ish. Didn't start having full visuals till like 3. I always enjoy long comeups. Makes you wonder if you under dosed, then bam. Bliss.

 

Sounds really good, I've been curious to try 2ci at a higher dose. The vortex thing sounds similar to one 2ci trip I had where I was blasting Hallucinogen through the speakers and I felt like I was being propelled through this 'Tron' type grid thing. I may have to seek this one out again soonish.

 

What other 2c's have you done and could you do a quick comparison?

That's another HUGE issue. Driving in and out of Toronto is a bloody nightmare, the city is retardedly congested and has antiquated roads, and terrible, aggressive drivers. If I could ride my bike for half an hour to a concert I would go to a lot more.

I know what you mean . . . I pass up many opportunities due to money and timing though.

i wasn't so thankful for their lack of potency - though they weren't really THAT weak. i had a great trip on 3 by the stream

i'm glad my comment gave you some form of comfort. it goes for tripping at shows as well as existing in day to day life. i used to have mild anxiety in school (normal for most teenagers) until i was able to tell myself - no one is paying that much attention to you (me)

what sort of effects do you get from just 20 mg?

for me, i see no reason to take less than 30 mg (since less has done almost nothing to me)
funny how we are sorta opposite when it comes to 2ce vs. 2cb (since you see no reason to dose "low" with 2ce)

so what makes 2cb worth it?



and, when you quote me like you just did, in multiple chunks...is their an easy way to do that, that i'm missing? or do you do like me, and copy and paste the quote tags around each chunk of text?

my next dose might be for STS9 coming up in a few weeks. i didn't get tickets yet, and am not sure that i will. a band i saw last year (the movement) is coming to town again. i didn't trip last time, but i could this time (it's in nov.)

not sure if i'd opt for acid, 2cb or maybe 2ce. prob not -e since the last time i did it was over a year ago, at the same venue both these shows are gonna be at. though maybe that's a reason TO choose 2ce
2cb would probably be almost as good for live music, and this L i have is never-fail!

 

thats interesting.. I seen this tron type thing, then some strobes. And one wild visual popping in and out of a LSD lab with some scientist looking fella looking back and me each time. What I would say similar to the lighting used to create lsd , red light, yellow light green light GO.. :2thumbsup:
