Well, since you asked, coulda been better. The weather was awesome, the scene very chill, open and friendly. Not big, but still some nice display of art and from the bit I heard, ok tunes.
2 things would have made it good to great. Going alone and connecting with a different friend that was there,(or going with someone else) and having done some 4 ace or even maybe lucy. I think that would have made it a time to be had.
I'm a bit introverted but damn... my, um, date? was, well... coulda been a better time.

Bump for almost getting arrested. My friend was arrested for DUI, because we were on lots of benzos and lyrica. I ate 5mg of xanax and 5mg of klonopin, along with 400mg of lyrica. He had some legal weed in the car, which he wasn't charged for. He also had some MXE and the cops found it. It said "MXE" on the bag, but he wasn't charged for that either. The cop asked me where you can get it and I told him my friend just got it through word of mouth and networking. I didn't say anything about any vendors.

Good thing you didn't eat another charge. Driving while intoxicated on all that shit though? AND having all those drugs on him? Your friend isn't doing you or himself any favors man.

Nah, he's cool. He wasn't even that fukt up. We both have INSANE benzo tolerance and he took his prescribed dose of lyrica, which you're not supposed to drive on. He was trying to show me how to change the song on the ipod and swerved and little, so the cops pulled us over and he was arrested.

I'm very lucky I didn't get any charges. If I wasn't on probation, I would've claimed everything in the car.

I just hope my friend is okay and gets out soon. The DUI is gonna fuck up his situation. Hopefully it won't get him kicked out of college or something, because I've heard of that happening.

    Not sure if this has been posted before, but a bill in the US has been proposed that would make a handful of 2C-X substances illegal;

^Luckily 2c-e isn't in there, but I have a feeling it's already up for becoming illegal soon.

Sorry about your dog GM, that sucks so hard. I just had to give my mom my dog who lives 12 hours away cause I can't keep him with me. I miss him already. He's my fav.

Yep.I got fucked for reay no reason at all. I was not swerving all over the road, just once, and a little, shoeing tns something with an iPod. Pork, I know u have an issue with people driving under the influence, but dude WTF saying seems like I got what is coming to me..... I expected better. I have a lot of respect for you pork, you seem like a wise and in some ways like minded soul.

Btw I'm put of jail now. Some fuckimg shit, I got into a scuffle over the phone in the holding cell which was ridiculous and sucked.

If I had actually been intoxicated where I was driving badly, it would be different. I was not. First thing he says is that he smells marijuana. I haven't smoked weed in my car for a long time (weeks and weeks) cop just pulling some bullshit. :(

Dude, glad you're out, hopefully it will all work out. If they didn't charge you with anything they found, mxe and what not, and they didn't have an alcohol test, it might be hard to prosecute you. Did you do a field sobriety test or admit to being on benzos?
I'm with Pork on the anti-stoned driving bandwagon. Even before I had a personal reason. It's fucked up, and makes it worse for everyone, when someone goes and risks innocent bystanders cause they're partying.
Then 13 yrs ago I got hit on my motorcycle by a drunk chick and almost killed. That made me more of a preacher. My 8 yr old daughter (at the time) almost didn't have a dad, her sole source of support.
It's one of the most fucked things, to me the equivalent of waving a machine gun around on a public street and saying "I didn't mean to shoot anyone".
Sorry to rant, but for chrissakes, please folks, don't do it.
    Off my soapbox, flame away.

He told them it was because of the Lyrica. Lyrica will fuck you up; even at prescribed dosages. We didn't mention benzos, at all, except I told the cop that I ate one xanax bar. They knew we were stoned though, I think.

BTW, I'm answering the question in his stead, just in case he doesn't see your post.

Yep. you're right, i have an issue with that. it's nothing personal man.

if you were "fucked up" on lyrica (and benzos?), you shouldn't have been driving. maybe you've learned a lesson here?

Dude, he only swerved ONE TIME when he was showing me how to use his ipod because, believe it or not, I've never used one before. lol I was holding the ipod, he looked over for a second to show me something and swerved a little bit.

I don't think it's an issue of how much he swerved or how badly, it's the fact that you guys were messed up on central nervous system depressants and regardless of what you or HAHA say, he WAS impaired. If he wasn't obviously impaired, I doubt he would have been arrested. They still had to administer some type of field sobriety test or failing that a blood test at the station. He had to fail before they could arrest him, correct?

Why keep trying to defend it ???????

TNS you and HaHa are both adults old enough to know better, yet you are sounding like 15 year old's in your trying to defend the indefensible.

He will pass any drug test they give him, except for THC. Most of us here have driven under the influence of something, one time or another. He was driving perfectly fine though, except for swerving that one time to show me which button to push on the ipod. Fuck anyone who wants to demonize him; cop OR HF member. Also, fuck anyone who flames me for defending my friend. He's a good guy.

Half of you people say "politically correct" shit on here just because you don't want other posters to flame you, and it's annoying. That being said, I know people shouldn't drive under the influence, but sometimes it's necessary. We were on our way to a spot where we were gonna chill and smoke, and NOT drive anymore for a few hours.

Your friend had to fail a sobriety test to be arrested for DUI. End of defense right there.
They didn't arrest him only because of what he did do, swerve, they arrested him because of what he might do and to protect other people.
It's not about being "politically correct" or any other such bullshit. It's about being responsible concerning drug usage and safety.
If you guys want to go out and take a bunch of benzos, smoke a gram of skunk, drop acid and chill in your own home or where ever that's all well and good. The second you get behind the wheel of a multi-ton vehicle while under the influence, then it's a whole other matter. Then you put MY safety and the safety of others at risk. THAT is the issue, nothing more, nothing less.
As I said it's about being RESPONSIBLE and considering someone other than yourself when partying.
Defending your friend is fine and commendable, but defending his actions of driving while under the influence is just not sensible.

Your right, most of us here have driven while high on something or drunk before. Still doesn't justify someone else doing it. Plus the class of drugs, CNS depressants, you guys were on also plays into it heavily.

I personally haven't driven on any cns depressants for over 25 years at least, last time was when I was 23, so make that 27 years.

My wife lost both her brothers because of drunk drivers, two years apart. I'm sure the guy that ran Joel off the mountain thought he was good to drive also. The guy who ran head on into Dean's car also "only swerved once", that was all it took to end three peoples lives, one swerve.

It is one of those things that only has to go wrong once to fuck your and maybe somebody else's life forever.

It is about being RESPONSIBLE and nothing more.
