Bump for 50mg 2C-B yesterday with Volupta. Was insane. What a versatile chemical. I was expecting a highly visual, frolicky time, and instead it was a deep unfurling of conceptual baggage . . . followed by a visual, frolicky time :D

The body load was very noticeable this time and in particular, like my first trip, her and I both noticed that temperature fluctuations and claustrophobia were the most prominent effects (and some nausea but I think most of it was psychological as she was very overwhelmed for the first 3-4 hours and cannabis+ginger didnt help her much).

I think my brain snapped into a higher mode of functioning during it because I saw she was being ridden by this dose, so I kind of sobered up big time and helped her through the beginning. Even the visuals and body sensations were extremely muted for me. Very strange because the last time I took this it was 20-30mg, was ridiculously visual and orgasmic and trippy, but on that occasion I had no responsibilities. Good to know its like that, some molecules you really don't have a choice, like LSD and trypts (ime).

I asked her what she thought of my nickname for it "Diet LSD", and she said "there's nothing diet about it!" I have to agree. It's definitely less cosmic and spiritual than LSD, and is disproportionately sensational/emotional to how it alters thought patterns (usually lol) but it can still do the same kind of good hard work that lucy can. Certainly this experience proved it, there were things discussed which multiple LSD experiences had not illicited.

Ok so does everyone agree that LSD is simply the best psychedelic and that nothing really comes close to it?

It seems everybody compares everything to Lucy, like she was the mother of all psychedelics.

Ah right I remember the 4aces delay, didn't know that was your first though, bummer. Well something like 4-aco-dmt is pretty high up there in terms of psychedelic prowess, definitely top 5 for me and possibly top 3. It can be extremely deep.

It probably won't be deep in the begining for me cause I'm probably going to take a max of 15 mg just to kinda get used to the headspace. It'll need to be baby steps for me, I've been letting this fear grow for like 10 years! lol

Thankfully it's just the fear of your idea of psychedelics. :)

    exactly :)

I'm a bit of a control freak and I've been known to feel weird in new and strange places. I know I'm probably going to have to give up some of that control, and I'm definetly going to be in a new and weird place so... definetly a challenge for me.

Hell, sometimes I get freaked out when I smoke too much weed!

Giving up control is so very hard. I consider myself a psychedelic veteran and I still sometimes struggle in the heat of a peak with letting go. I wish your control-freak tendencies a lot of luck ;) I can't tell you how dramatically a trip can go from a dark, terrible tear-fest of anguish to a bright, beautiful ocean of bliss and awareness in an instant once you realize that in order to get through these few hours you must surrender the notion of having control. That happened just yesterday with gf and 2c-b. incredible friction from her end trying to "box it all in" and understand what was what. "Understanding" is another type of sneaky control, really it means "confining reality to your mental concepts", and it's another source of difficulty. It really does come down to letting go and going with the flow. Understanding and control can come back when you come down.

I guess we'll find out what happens soon enough, friends :)

I think the fact that I've been meditating for almost a year is going to help me with the letting go part. I've learned to call this ''gravitating''. Not trying to add words or titles to how I feel, not being threatened by it, not trying to confine it - just being. That's the frame of mind I'm trying to have when going into this.

At least I got over the fear of it making me schizo and what not!

I love intuitive programming, Google being great at these. Was firing off an email to a job application from Gmail, got a popup:

You have written "I am attaching" in this email, but there are no files attached. Did you want to attach files or send it without attachments?

Kind of creepy if it wasn't so helpful :D

    What's next

You have written "I am very sorry for my actions" in this email, but there are minimal sorrow pheromones detected in your entity, and a smile was registered during the writing process. Was this sarcasm or would you like to send a disingenuous email?

Pre-bump for AT LEAST 50mg of 2ce tonight with a friend. It'll be his second experience with 2ce, and he'll be dosing the same amount as me. I have a sneaking suspicion that he'll fall in love with the compound. He's tried it at 30mg and liked it, but +50mg =

Very interesting you posted that, Mr. Writer. I've felt a bit extra existential these last few days and I'm planning on eating some cubensis tonight. I've been trying to wrap my head around reality, but this can be equated to seeing sight, or smelling smell. So I find your advice very, very helpful.

I'm sort of afraid I'm going to get bored, sitting out in my backyard watching the stars for six hours.

Glad my post resonated with you. Is this your first time with mushrooms? Depending on your dose you might either be bored or there won't even be anyone there in your head that can "be bored" :D though to cover your bases I would just bring a bottle of water (always), an mp3 player (always), and in case the dose is weak you can at least go for a walk and/or melt into music.

Yeah it will be my first time with mushrooms. I was talking about doing it on here about a month ago but I realized it wasn't a good time to trip at all. Now is the perfect time.

It's an eighth and from my understanding that isn't a weak dose. I might smoke a little weed as well. Is the comedown the best time for it, or the come up?

Has anyone read a book while tripping? :B I might bring a copy of the Tao Te Ching along with me tonight.
