Shitman, sorry to hear about the dealextreme scales we all have, I mean, can't you just allow for the over measurement, or you mean it's out by 14mg either way all over the place?

In that case if you're stressing over it all I can recommend is dividing your powder, if you're getting a small enough amount, and measuring each one to get a sort of confident figure, outside of liquid measurement

Shitty to hear that your order still hasn't arrived but there isn't much you can do other than wait it out and see what happens.

As for your scale, try calibrating it a few times, or maybe even replacing the batteries if those that came with it were already in the scale and possibly had some battery power drained.
It's also possible that with those cheaper scales the weights they provide aren't quite accurate.

 

Was just about to recommend recalibrating if your scales came with the same instructions mine has it says it all right there.

Also I seem to remember a few pages back about someone recommending you turn the scale on and leave it for a while to 'warm up' before using it properly.
Cannabissoul is right about the batteries too that dealextreme scale will drain battery life if they're left in.

here's something to put things in perspective...a professor at my school had an 18 month old daughter that just died. so fucking terrible.

so at least we're all still breathing, broken bones / missing drugs aside

 

My scale sucks but what i do is place the cal. weight and a small piece of paper onto the scale then take note of the weight, add to that how many ever mgs of stuff im weighing up, weigh it up then add it to a capsule. To double check the weight i weigh an empty capsule then weigh my capsule full of dope and subtract the weight of the empty cap. I am usually within 2-4 mgs of my goal weight.

 

those caps don't weigh exactly the same though^^^

 

I have weighed several of mine and they generally weigh the same.

I kind of do the same thing.

First,
With the scale off I place a dime on the weigher which happens to fit perfectly,
I turn on the scale and it reads 0.000g,
I then place a gel cap on the dime and measure its weight several times,
I then scoop up the powder in the gel cap, close the cap, and calculate the new weight.
If the gel cap was .095 and I wanted 16mg in the capsule I would want my new weight to equal .111g

I feel like GM, probably within 2-4mg of my target, and that's ok by me. If your calibration weight is reading within 2mg of the same weight each time you set it down then it should be ok...and remember to put the dime down. Forget the little tray and also the tare button.

I actually love tripping alone. Its fun with friends but so much more personal by myself. And what's wrong with a little pick me up when you are feeling down? that's the best time trip I think. Unless of course u think it will affect your trip.

 

Oh, you're right! That's the chem I wanted to try the most after my first rc trials with aces. It seems awesome.

I've heard 2c-b Is so mellow, I prefer an intense trip. Is there still that mind fuck aspect to it?

 

^^that's exactly what i thought until i tripped on 2cb. it is very "gentle," but still very psychedelic. i wrote a few reports on here if you search for 2c-b you can probably find them - or in the psychedelic trips group

 

It definitely feels captivating, If rolling is to say anything about the nature of a trip beyond your eyes wiggling around I'd say 2cb is like a colorful trippy roll sans the empathy in the 15-25 mgs range and beyond that (i've only taken it up to 35 mgs) it becomes more hallucinogenic.

I've mixed it with MDMA and 4-meo pcp and it became more intense in both instances.

It also had zero negative physical effects or crash the first couple times I tried it, it's a good one.

 

60mgs of 2C-B is pretty heavy. I was also on 3 1/2 hits of WoW though.

OOOOKaay, I'm calm now. I hadnt even try calibrating it. Sorry about that. I actually had a really shitty day today and this wasnt about the scale at all.

I'm not saying this looking for pity, just to kinda get it off my chest since some of you have become my close friends in some weird internet way, but my dad fell of a ladder and broke his back today. He's sleeping in the hospital tonight, then tomorrow hell be sent to another hospital to see a specialist. They said something about his L3 being dislocated. He can move his legs and stuff and he's very conscious, but apparently it hurts like a bitch. We'll know more in the morning. I'm worried thats all.

Sorry for the rant guys, I know this isnt the place, but man, if my dad ends up in a wheelchair or something, he'll go nuts. He's one of those people who cant ever stop to rest. Even on his days off hes building or fixing something.

Aww thats terrible shivaya, stay positive I fractured 3 of my vertebrae when I was like 13. I know its not the same thing but he'll probably just need surgery and some time heal but he'll be fine. Btw I think this is the perfect place To rant and be open and honest- cuz this is pretty anonymous
