Oh man, there's some big "investigative news" story going to air on local news here. I'm thinking its the beginning of the end for meph, what with the states that have banned it and all. No interest in it myself but seems like a somewhat mild rc... dunno.

 

I recently got some mephedrone and it was extremely weak. I hadn't done it in around a year, but last time a 250mg oral dose had me feeling amazing... now 300 mg doses don't do much at all. Initially I thought it might be some sort of tollerance issue from MDMA use (2 times a month), but a friend who doesn't do much of anything didn't feel all that great from bigger doses either. I'm pissed off I wasted my money on this shit! It's from the same vendor too

 

mephedrone is now a street drug in the uk and the prices aren't too bad or the quality. I believe a lot of it comes from India.

 

i always kinda thought that mephedrone was at least a little nasty. i've read about peoples extremities or lips turning blue, and heart palpitations... it got pretty big pretty fast, hence all the negative attention in the press.

i've noticed that 2ce has gotten QUITE popular in the last couple years

 

Yeah, dosent surprise me. Its like LSD in most ways + its sofar still legal (in US anyway). Being able to just easily order it online is probaly whats helping it spread so quickly.

Sucks though, ive never had real LSD, and because apparently punishment for it is so high here noone really brings it in. Wish somebody could help me out here :sunny:

 

Good Mephedrone is actually quite intense, not in the way hallucinogens are but quite a bit moreso than coke and more rushy than MDMA. I remember the first time I did it with my friend, my head felt like it was filled up with helium and all I could do for the first 15 minutes is sit against my bed and try and stop my eyes from wiggling and stop gnawing the inside of my mouth. My friend puked when she was coming up, the bath salt stuff seems to be cut with either mdpv or some inert filler. Still gets me floored but not quite as good as the pure meph.

Mephedrone is nasty in the way that cocaine is nasty to me, a lot of mephedrone reeks really bad tho. There was some propaganda stories much like we've seen with MDMA and LSD in the past but yah it's certainly a fiendish type high.

i like 2ce...sure, but LSD is so so SO much better

 

I kind of got that impression but also thought it wasn't fiendish or whatever. I guess I just went on "impression" because I'm not interested in speed-like stuff. Coffee is good enough for me.

So "bath salts" are generally meph AND mdpv? I dunno I guess if they are some weird mixtures that aren't disclosed, maybe it's better if they arent so available.

Hey Cory... keep your eyes open and hit some fests, or see if there is a psy scene out your way. (there's not much of one here from what I can see)
Of all the myths and stories around Lucy, one I believe that's true is that it finds you when you least suspect and are just keeping your eyes and ears open. Sort of like meeting a girl. It'll happen when it's supposed to.

On the other hand, IMO 4 aces is a more similar psychedelic headspace to Lucy than is 2Ce. It's often compared to shrooms because of the molecular similarities however of the handful of RC's I've gotten to try, it's closest.
But ya, what PS said. There is nothing quite like her.

Think I will take a bit of 2C-E Saturday. Just a bit... just a bit.

 

I hadn’t planned on another gathering so close on to the last two, but a woman I’ve been talking with on-line invited me to meet her and her husband at a full-moon party in the woods. We had been talking about me helping them with the psytrance gatherings they organize and wanted to meet one another face to face. I skipped Friday and went Saturday afternoon.

The party was on some private property waaaay out in the country down several FM roads and then some dirt roads. As I was finishing paying ($20 for one night) someone called my name – cool, it was the woman I was to meet. I found out where they were camping and I went on and found a campsite. A few days before I’d baked 4 batches of cookies (2 of chocolate chunk and 2 of oatmeal – both with nuts), and when my camp was set up I started walking around handing the cookies out. Needless to say, quite a few people were in the mood for cookies, so that was fun. I also spent some productive time with the people I was there to meet.

As the sun was getting low (but Lord, was it hot), someone invited me into a tent where there was some pretty serious getting high going on. That seemed an auspicious time for me to take some 2-CE, so I did. I hung out in the tent and then went back and got my stuff together and went on over to the dance floor, a 5 minute walk from where I was camping.

The joint was a-jumpin’! A woman I’d met weeks earlier was dancing and dancing and it got transcendental and it also got ridiculous when she tried to help a guy who couldn’t keep a hoop up and going, but of course he ignored her – uh-huh. She showed us all how it’s done. The music was pounding and so was I and I was pretty much unable to do anything other than just be there, swept away by the music. It got dark, except for light in the DJ canopy, and then little sparkling lights moving in the leaves of the trees overhanging the dance floor and the lights of the dancers, moving, whirling ecstatically. I was thinking about someone I correspond with now and then who says he doesn’t like psytrance (though he’s never been to one of these gatherings) – oh man, fuck, it flat out doesn’t get any more psychedelic than this. This is IT. To me, this is better than just about anything, including in the 60s.

There were little groups of people scattered near and far, some dancing (some with lights, some without), some people sitting in chairs or on blankets, people walking around, all psychedelic. I was pretty much stuck in my chair, but after a bowl, I danced some (beneath the diamond sky), but mostly I was just marveling at how beautiful and psychedelic this was and how fortunate I am to be here. It was really hot and at one point I felt like the sweat was just pouring off of me. It felt so good to wipe my face and neck with a wet towel. In my pack I had a bottle of water + a bag with some ice in it and in there a ½ liter bottle of sports drink and the same size of the protein drink I take before and after I work out. The Gatorade and water were life-savers and the protein drink was a life-enhancer. I danced again, ancient trance dancing, for 1000s of years, at full moon gatherings through the ages, the pounding, the trance. Bom! Om, Om, Om.

I think I went back to my tent around 3. My car was parked next to the tent and I had trouble recognizing it as I was altered, it was dark, and someone had laid glow sticks all around and on the car and tent. Thank you whoever you are.

Though it was still hot, I have a ~10” battery-powered fan, and I drifted off to sleep in a cool breeze with colored patterns in my eyelids and the beat still going, going, Goan. I awoke around 7am with the music still going strong, had some coffee, spent a few moments dancing, and discovered that part of this scene is Sunday morning socializing. Far out, just hanging out, being happy.
