Nah, never had a scale. I've always used liquid measurements, aside from the times when I only had enough material for one dose.

BTW, your love of listening to music in the dark while trippin... double awesome on L. When I venture into the 50mg range with 2Ce, I'm looking to contrast the experience with L. Cause I can't fathom music being deeper and more complex than my recent experience.

Edit: Then again, I have onna them cheapy scales, so same holds true for me too. I'm relatively confident I get within 3-4 mg, I check and recheck and re re check.

 

i'm a stickler for accurate dosing, but i still wouldn't say that his reports are to be taken with a grain of salt. maybe his doses, but i bet he gets pretty close. if you order 500 mg, and get 530 mg, aim for 1 mg/ml, actually get 1.06 mg /ml and get a 53 mg instead of 50. or you could have started with 470 mg, and got a 47 mg dose by the same math.

i try to always use a ~ sign if i didn't measure the dose myself.

'my' scale is UBER accurate to the tenth of a mg!



again with emphasis on the personal variation, but i have a decent amount of experience with LSD at low - medium doses. and i can say for sure that 2ce's music enhancement is slightly better than LSD's. it's very close however.

i greatly prefer the overall LSD trip. but 2ce (while lying down in the dark with music pumping) gives me the most intricate CEVs that correlate to the music and give me a history lesson of sorts. makes it feel like the song was written for me (by me?), and is being performed just for me.

 

I would expect you to have a super awesome scale I'd imagine no less.

You have a point, I hadn't thought of it in the liquid measurement way so seeing it that way, his liquid measurement is prob about as accurate as my cheapie scale. And with E, especially in those ranges, a couple mg isn't going to change much.

I find it fascinating, the different experiences. GM talking about 4 ace not even hardly phasing her... music on E being more awesome for you than on L. Endless variations.
As I mentioned if/when Im in the 50mg range with E, I'll contrast. But this much is certain, that goa/trance station I spent time listening to, on 5.1 surrounding me, loud enough to be heard a few doors down, was auditory depth to an amazing degree.

 

I wouldn't say "with a grain of salt", since liquid measurement is pretty damn accurate, supposedly. Like pork said though.....you also have to factor in the fact that it's possible you get more/less material than you order. It could be enough to make a huge difference, but it's more likely that it's not enough to make that much of a difference.

And yes.....PLEASE do that on a high dose of 2ce. When the time comes, I'd be very happy to recommend some music that has always helped to take me very deep into the experience.

Same here. I've never been as affected by music as I have been on 2ce.

 

i've been to a few concerts and festivals on LSD, and one concert on 2ce. the concert on 2ce is one of the more memorable ones. but before typing that last sentence, i paused to think...i've had some amazing musical enhancement from LSD as well. i may be comparing my later LSD trips with my early 2ce trips. i first tried 2ce after not tripping for a few years. so i may have just kinda decided that 2ce is better than LSD (MUSICALLY), but it might not be exactly so.

i'm considering retracting previous statements and saying that they are roughly equal in their musical enhancing capabilities.

eh...2ce might be just a wee bit better still, hakahahhaha:sunny:

edit: come to think of it, cannabis is quite the musical enhancer as well. (i'm baked)

Ya, it is I actually did those two the same, 2Ce was my first after years too (safe to be many more than yours) I was wondering too about set and setting, I can't attribute the difference to just that tho.
