Just smoked a bowl and a thought entered my head..

Why is it we see fractals/geometric images when we trip?

 

We did it pretty early today. I'd say it's all but worn off. I actually got some sleep... which shows that it is almost worn off. I took a pretty small dose and still REALLY enjoyed it. I took ~17 mg. I had nothing to eat until just a few hours ago, though.

My first dose was 40 or 45 mg. I then did 30 mg twice since then. To tell you the truth, the dose hasn't been the deciding factor in enjoyment. It has been the time of day. This was pretty early. My friend took 25 mg. He loved it.


It was a cool, overcast day with a bit of occasional rain. We just went to a metro park and walked around, then went and bought some CDs at a record exchange (the only place to get good music in this town).

aMT is one of my favorites. It is AMAZING what a positive outlook can do. While it makes you ever-so-slightly scatter brained, the benefits outweigh a misplaced paper or a forgotten question by ten-fold.

Lots of us worry about issues that are insignificant in the long run (maybe [EDIT: not maybe, definitely] everything is insignificant in the long run). aMT ensures that these little things are not a concern. Even if you are focusing on them, they do not consume you. It's beautiful. I got a lot accomplished, but was not stressed out at any point. I did not second guess my decision making nearly as much as I usually do.

This stuff could do a lot of good for a lot of people... like a few other substances.

I don't like getting too deep into my life on here, but my brother is a veteran. He has some issues. He was prescribed a few things in the past. They never really worked. He said they blanketed things and took away some of his ability to experience emotion (or at least experience, how he perceives it, correctly). He tried some of this and said it worked far better than anything he's been given. He has actually been helped a lot by aces and aMT.

It's spectacular what deep, uninhibited and open conversations with someone that is willing to listen and not judge can do. I think we've both been helped.

 

Very cool observations and comments. Thanks for posting in such a positive way. I'm glad it was a good experience for you and your bro. Yet another example of the positive effects of psychedelics vs. big phama "drugs".

Bump for an evening with "mainstream" (IE) accepted alterants. Had my regular dose of tacos with some fine ale along with an excellent non-hollywood movie, "How to Rob a Bank"

Been smokin' my herbal blend of blue & sacred lotuses, dream herb, wild dagga, and opium lettuce flavored with spearmint and peppermint, sprayed with a 1:1 ratio of JWH-019, 081, 122, 210, 250, 251 at about 70mg/gram herbal blend and sprayed also with 5-MeO-DALT at about 30mg/gram herbal blend, assured to me that it was lab quality 90% ethanol... all scientific poppycock just for getting stoned. It tastes great and has such an all-enveloping stoney effect with unique COV's that are really reminiscent of the sorts of dreams you have, those odd nightmares, just on the cusp of sleep as you're nodding off. DALT deserves a chance too! 'Nother good DVD to sit down, watch and enjoy whilst frying but this other, heavy alerts, 'Psychedelia: The Anthology'... aren't you running into MASSIVE tolerance? you sometimes mention that you're a hardhead and require these huge doses, but it's no wonder. you trip at least weekly. you've been eating those microdots like candy!!!!! (note the jealousy again?)

to each there own yadda yadda, but i just can't see choosing to do it this way. so i guess i'm asking for a bit of an explanation if you care to. seems like a better idea to just take one large dose (or even 3 or 4 doses if you wish to combo) rather than taking a mixture of chems, and another mixture a few hours later, and another mixture a couple hours later...

Having lived in both the Bay and The City, Bay tacos/burritos blow anything NY sky high, but same goes for City slices, I love the gyros and the pirogis a lot myself!

Surprisingly, not so much of a tolerance going, but yesh, I do trip now just on the weekends, for a bit there I was frying three to four times a week, lol. You used to trip weekly, you know how get a wild hair up your arse and go willy-nilly, even if combos ain't yo thang. Anyway, I chose to go at it in these three successions to experience each unique combos effects and fade into the next trip/roll and just keep on coastin'! So I don't see it as wastin' squat, I certainly could've just eaten like 55mg + snorted 25mg of 4-HO-MET, eaten five microdots, snorted 20mg + eaten 40mg of 2C-B, and parachuted 355mg of Molly, but honestly, I don't think that would be safe even... that could quite possibly get into Serotonin Syndrome or hypertensive crisis territory. I use my head about these things, even if it seems like I'm a silly guy

I'm thinkin' about gettin' some yayo laterz too... I might go to a carnival and ride the ferris wheel and go roller coaster riding tonight, the lights should be nifty!

And hellz yeahz!!! 4-HO-MET alone is absolutely lovely, and so too the LSD + 2C-B combo is pure bliss (godmachine had me beat on that one by a few weeks)... there's one thing you're forgetting too, I took piracetam (an 800mg pill) last night an hour or so before ingesting anything, and it's very true, piracetam magickally intensifies sikes by shittons, so in effect, any tolerance I may have is scattered away or nullified by piracetam's boosting effect. And I ate another 800mg piracetam pill a few hours ago; another interesting thing about piracetam is how it makes you ultra-lucid and analytical even when peaking your ass off, which is kinda neat IMO. Mental confusion is one of the only side-effects of sikes I don't always care for, and infusing piracetam into a trip obliterates that. I know you don't do combos, but you should consider getting some piracetam and thinking of it as what it is, a smart drug, something that's just going to boost you to lift-off with guarantee!

Back to droneland now, been listening to High Places, Holy Fuck, Hot Chip, Landing, Lichens (with Cloudland Canyon), and Spectrum... good timesss!

PS, they were carne asada and al pastor (loosely translated "bbq pork") Pollo is sometimes meh. I know the beer isn't your style, thats why I posted it. :sunny: I like a beer I can feel with 2 glasses.

Why is all this in the psychedelic bump? After savoring those tacos, I was actually sweating, had a major tingle all in my mouth and down the throat a little, as the beer settled in it all faded into a nice mellow buzz.
Not nearly a trip like Cosmo's today... but still bliss.

Good to see that a large amount of us were lucky enough to get a trip in this week(end)! I am certainly refreshed and content after yesterday's explorations with 2c-I.

I went to the carnival and ate carnie food like cotton candy and rode rickety old carnival rides slammed together with nuts n' bolts! It was grand!!!

The octopus ride made me think of Syd Barrett and the fact that I've been flipping on multiple sikes for over 24 hours made me think of this, I can totally relate!
