I know I have a cynical/argumentative attitude at times but its the way I am. I have helped tons of people on these boards and elsewhere with psychedelia questions/info/etc. so I don't need any of your suggestions Writer.

it's hard to say which i prefer, since i haven't had any 2ce since july. but i really think it might be 2cb. i got a massive headache again this time, but not as bad as last month with 36 mg. i took 2 ibuprofen early this morning and my headache is pretty much gone now. i plan on trying 24.5 mg 2ce at some point, but probably not too soon. i think that's probably the highest i'll go with 2ce. with 2cb...i can't help but think about taking a lower dose. i think 44 mg is about as high as i need to go. but if like 25-30 mg would give me a pretty decent trip WITHOUT the headache, i might prefer that. but 35-45 mg seems like a great level for 2cb. i just wish it lasted a bit longer. i only trip for like 3 or 4 hours on it.

i don't think this is fair at all. guerilla makes MAJOR, not marginal contributions to this forum. he admittedly is a bit argumentative at times, but i think it leads to some good discussions (not all the time though). in this latest MXE case though, it seems like guerilla has a case of "sour grapes." he's decided he doesn't wanna try this one, so he thinks it must not be that great anyways. any accuracy to that, GB?

 

that wasn't fair, he does make good contributions, but he also shits on a lot of people and topics here. and the "latest case" is him neg repping my post where i said i don't trust the mainstream media to report the facts in this case so it is meaningless to me. i think his sour grapes have sour grapes.

I've read stuff here for awhile even though I only recently dipped my toes in by joining. There's tons of stuff here I disagree with philosophically. Sometimes I'll throw my $.02 in but I always try to respect other peoples experiences and opinions. Just the right thing to do for me.

When did it become cool to get in someones face because they disagree with you? Since the internet gave people an anonymous voice to use? I've seen lots of posts from both Writer and GB, something tells me those two dudes would be very chill over a cup of coffee and a spliff. But here in a forum of text, not so much.

Writer, theres one or two I've seen around here that really shit on people. Demeaning, arrogant, hostile. I don't see that with GB, the few times I've seen him post with angry words (iirc) is after someone started a hissy fit. I don't know what you exchanged off board, but your post was the first one with attitude. Just sayin...

Maybe you two could just blow it off, shake hands and chill? Just from my perspective I didn't see anything to get all negative about. None of us are going to dig everything about each other. But we can be open minded to other peoples angle. Maybe? Or neg rep me if you like, it won't ruin my day.

 

also, about the MXE thing, i might see where GB is coming from when he said to writer "i'm not buying your shit." but that statement comes off as unnecessary and hostile when you don't explain it.

it seems that writer pretty much loves every drug he tries. see his first time trip reports for 2ce, DOC, and even 2cc, which he later decides is useless. writer, you rave about almost every psychedelic - aMT, DPT, 4-ho-mipt, etc, etc. you even raved about certain blotter arts, that when i tried (mabye a diff batch) were kinda weak. so i've kinda come to "not buy your shit" either. i almost thought that 2cb wasn't gonna be as good as you described it, but i gotta say, you're right on with that one

this post isn't meant to offend or anything. just pointing out my view on the subject and maybe offering a different point of view. i like both of you guys, so when you don't get along, it's like two of my friends that don't like each other...:grouphug:

 

Unfortunately I have seen a lot of unnecessary negativity from GB, towards myself and others. The MXE Musings thread is the more recent example. I agree with your point of course, but understand I wouldn't be posting like this unless I had reason to. I should have kept it in PMs or something though, as for people like you who haven't been on the receiving end of his charm, it would appear as though I was just starting shit. Anyways this is much more focus on this topic than I would have liked, especially in this psychedelic bump thread. i only posted here because he neg repped a post of mine here for what amounts to "i dont agree with what you're saying". I don't really feel like enumerating the instances of his attitude, they are speckled throughout the forum, and in the private messages and reps of several members here. It's one thing to get negative with someone when engaged in an emotional debate or something, but for guerr it's like a pervasive attitude he approaches things with sometimes. it just gets really old and feels especially unwarranted in a website like this, a hip website about psychedelic discussions. let's get back to those. all that happened here was that guerrilla acted the way he's always acted, and pushed me far enough to call him out in this thread.

Writer, GB is not a troll. GB is a socially awkward guy who'll be the first one to admit it to you. He does make major contributions here, he's funny, but sure, sometimes he's cold or indifferent or just plain opinionated. But I am too, well funny (IMO) and opinionated, I'm also sometimes a cynical little shit that takes pot shots, but I don't mean any harm, does that make me a troll?

Porkstock can sometimes come across holier than thou, but he's a really wise person. You Writer can be a total know-it-all or even a hypocrite and you know it, but you're also typically a gentle and caring guy. Neither you nor porkstock nor GB are bad folks, I like you all, and not a one of you deserves to be called a troll.

Like voyage said, being "hip" is in part being open-minded and something is lost in translation through text that you two likely would work out over a joint and some java. And like porkstock said, it's like watching two friends fight... and IMO over trivial bullshit.

Nah. Just so long as this person doesn't go wild with the benzos, this person should be a-ok. MAOI's effect certain neurotransmitters, and don't quote me, but I'm pretty sure that benzos don't effect those particular centers of the brainz.

@porkstock: I've repeatedly mentioned my struggles with ketamine on this forum, for Writer to suggest that that is in anyway better for me is revealing of his character to me. I don't have any serious problems with Writer but for him to call me the persuasive one is laughable. Think of what the guy said about 100 mgs of mxe and look what Cosmoknot just bumped.

 

^^^do you mean he suggested that MXE would be better for you than ketamine? i thought he was just saying that it was a better high, not that it'd be better for you for addiction reasons...
