You see this is the shit I find amusing, in a scary way. You and others will make comments such as this;

Do you not see the outright inconsistency in your words vs actions?

You will believe and repeat urban myth and propaganda about shit that has been studied yet happily ingest something that very little is known about.
then you adopt an immature and arrogant attitude rather than maybe acknowledging the fact that there may be others here that know a lot more about these substances then you and look to them for education. Earlier in the thread I voiced my concern over RC's, but I also acknowledged my LACK of knowledge concerning them and defer to those who have studied them and taken them. I know a fair amount about LSD and psychedelics, but I'm intelligent enough to know what I don't know and will quietly sit and learn from those that do.

Incidents like that can and do occur from time to time. But they speak a lot more about the emotional stability, and general intelligence of the person much, much more than they do LSD.
I have done LOTS of reading and research into exactly this type of shit concerning LSD, and I still have yet to find an incident that ended badly where the person was not already pretty messed up psychologically or emotionally. One exception is early cases where people were given LSD without thier knowledge, mostly conducted by the CIA.

My jumped out of a window because he felt "weird" for a month after taking it. He was a seasoned tripper too. Luckly it was only two stories high and he only broke a few bones. He's fine now but, what if it were higher you know?

Shush. I have posted many times that JWH isn't a chemical that you should smoke or use.

I don't even take medicine, I don't trust chemicals very often which is why I also steer clear from RC's most of the time.

You can say anything about any drug that is negative and it's fine, I say something about acid and I'm a fuckin' terrorist. Instead of taking everything I say as if I am stupid (which I am most certainly not) take at least a little of what I say to heart and accept my opinion. Be more acceptive. You said 5 hits of LSD causes more brain damage than 1/2 gram of Ketamine, then backpedal and say "oh, I meant psychological", No you didn't otherwise you would have said that initially.

You should go do a little research about the physical risks of ketamine compared to LSD and maybe you will see how ridiculous your statement was.

Maybe if you sat back and listened about these things that you obviously don't know as much about as you think rather than trying to impress and spouting off without much thought to what your saying, you would be better recieved. People such as you talking about shit that they don't know about is what gets people hurt concerning drugs.

Haha reminds me of my 2C-E trip at the Chemical Brothers concert last month, I had to stay at some guy's house, never walked to or from there before, just been there by car. I had no clue where the hell I was, just kept making random turns, it was a 40 minute walk.. some how I ended up at his door an hour later hah, this was in a huge city too.

sir octopus...tell me more about your friend that jumped out of a window weeks after taking LSD. was he depressed before taking it. i'm sure PBSmith can accept that SOME people shouldn't take LSD, such as those predisposed to mental "illness." did your buddy fall under that category? was it his first dose of LSD? insanely high dose? did he use any other drugs? maybe he was tripping every week for a few months? give some details and your post won't sound like some bullshit myth that we've all heard.

here's some of MY PERSONAL experience (not a friend of mine). i've taken acid 20 times at least, and i've never wanted to jump out of a window. never have i felt "weird" for more than one day afterward. i've never thought i could fly, and i never turned into a glass of OJ. i know you didn't claim those last two, but this is the kind of stuff that is reminiscent of what you are claiming.

I think it's pretty obvious that this is not at all the case. I recommend you do some more research on LSD and other psychedelics. Wikipedia, erowid, and documentaries by National Geographic, and the discovery channel are decent places to start. If you're a bit more ambitious you can read case studies and published papers in the world of academia.

In reality, yes LSD can bring out underlying psychological disturbances. I had a friend that has some issues with tripping. He also has a few other mental problems that run in his family (his sister has cerebral palsy). However, the likeliness of this happening is lower than .01% It's minuscule; it's as likely as having the underlying disorder in the first place. My friend was also able to recover 100% after getting HPPD. It took some time and abstinence from drugs, but he is completely back to the way he was before.

Not everyone is capable of handling LSD. I'll give you that, but chances are if you're good the first time, you're going to be alright the rest of the times if you use these substances responsibly. By responsible use, I'm referring to taking into account set, setting, and the other important factors that affect a trip.

You're new here, so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you jumped the gun in disrespecting some of the senior members. I hope you will try to be a bit less sharp in your future responses. I will do the same.
