old or new, who likes it? Favourite bands from the genre? As for me, The Silver Apples have to be on the VERY top of my list w/ their Contact album being my favourite. The 13th Floor Elevators, Can, Pink Floyd, etc too of course! But there's just something in the Silver Apples music that reaches me on a level like no psychedelia has before...

Love it. My favorite music, really.. although I have little or no use for the whole overhyped SF scene (The Dead, Jefferson Airplane, Joplin, most of the acts at Woodstock) which was more or less roots rock compared to the more cosmic acts like Syd Barrett's Pink Floyd

It's, of course, Syd Barrett, Pink Floyd, The Doors, Hendrix, Joplin, Rolling stones,...

the things are clear...i can't be more clear

but early Amon Duul II records are the cream of psychedelic rock...
And The Pretty Things "SF Sorrow" (68) & "Parachutes" (70) goes really deep into the trip...
And bro you forgot the 3 great psychedelic album of The Byrds (66-68)...
There's so many things ...and the '69 album of Jethro Tull "Stand Up" is my fave Jethro and their most psych album!
But for the Silver Apples...mmmh i never taste them...

He forgot the Seeds, too. Something about the album Future gets me. Oh yeah, and there's no Arthur Brown on that list, either. The Crazy World of Arthur Brown is, well, crazy!

    a

I heard the album Future last week and some songs are great but i can't get into The Crazy World... this kind of records will make me became mad...yep really... but only if i took mushrooms or acid...this guy is dangerous for me too crazy...
I've got hopefully not this problem with Barrett records with or without the Floyd

Listen to the Stones' Their Satanic Majesties Request and then listen to the VU's White Light/White Heat. Then it's easy to understand.

I like trance and neopsychedelia... because modern technology allows artists to express themselves more the artists of the 60s...

Examples: Subarachnoid Space, Lamp of the Universe, etc.

Ah yes, a while ago I ran into Lamp of the universe - The cosmic union. Great album.
I also like newer stuff like Colour Haze and the Liquid sound company.
