What are your thoughts on the protests, rioting, and/or looting in Ferguson County, St. Louis, Missouri? Just looking for opinions and what people think about the situation if they've been paying attention to the events as they've been happening.

The people of Ferguson MO. Should learn the definition of protesting!!!!
    Looting... Stolen goods.
Vandalism... Willful or malicious destruction and defacement of public
    or private property.
Protesting... An example of a protest is a group of people gathering
together in a public setting to show they don't agree with a decision
    made by government body.
Where does vandalism and looting fit in with protesting can someone please
    explain it to me.
I am disgusted how the media and other are using the race card before
    any facts are in.
CNN broadcast showed the house and street number of the Ferguson police
    officer that shot Mike Brown.
If this officer is truly innocent and gets accused because they are afraid of
another OJ scenario. I feel it's time for true Patriots must make a stand for this officer.

It's irrational to protest in that way. I'm not justifying it at all but people who aren't desperate, people who feel like they have options, people who feel like someone is listening to them....don't generally act in such irrational ways. Then you add a bunch of people who traveled there just to loot shit and what you have is what we saw.

Not only that, but state and local officals have sent letters to residents in the surrounding areas to "prepare as if a storm is coming" and have multiple days worth of food on hand, and to be prepared to stay inside and not leave their houses for a few days. They are expecting a war with this. I live in Missouri, but thankfully Im not near where all this is happening.

Legitimate protests fine and are guaranteed to citizens. Sad thing is that there are always a certain percentage in almost any gathering/protest that screw it up for legitimate protests. I certainly wasn't there, so I don't know what exactly went down, but I do feel sometimes
that minus an actual shooting war, the civil war never really ended.

Sounds like a good time to buy some development land in Ferguson since the race wars have brought the prices down. Now once all those race wars die off, all that real estate land you're sitting on will climb way back up in value.

In small pockets of the country racism is just as rampant today as it was 100 years ago (as if time had passed them by )
and it’s about time for change – no matter the cost in blood

Young Brown like so many of his peers are touted to be such wonderful, talented, gifted and loving people. But so what. A mother cobra watches out for and will defend its offspring while it incubates the eggs too. I am tired of hearing of how the young turd, like so many of the other young turds are portrayed as anything but what they actually were. But then I guess people have to try to paint that picture in regards to blacks, because the truth only serves to promote the stereotypes and thoughts that so many already hold. Believe this to be mean, racist or whatever you wish. I could not care any less. To say that a skunk smells bad is not being mean or bigoted about skunks. It is merely being honest. At least you have to have a bit of compassion for the skunk, for it has no choice in the matter of how it smells. People have the ability to decide what they will do and how they will do it. Young blow away Brown made his choices and they brought about reactions that any moron should be able to anticipate. Give sympathy and pity to those who deserve it. Do not waste it on the Browns of the world. For that is all it will be, a waste.
