My boyfriend was diagnosed with Chlamydia, he took the one day treatment and it’s been over the required week since he took it. It’s been 3 days since I’ve taken my medication, is it okay to have sex if it’s protected?

yes.. you should wait a week tho , but if you use condoms you cant reinfect him. would need to be bare penis /pee hole in vagina ..

It’s recommended not to have sex until 7 days after first taking the treatment, wasn't sure if it applied to both unprotected and protected just in case there is still a risk.

condoms are made to prevent Chlamydia from risky sex with strangers.. youll be fine ..
IF you have no other partners and are 100% honest to each other and on other birth control/ or male male lovers. you can share fluids after the 7day window.. Be sure you have been screened for other STD's.
