I don't recall Mark, Engels or Barkunin talking about getting rid of all opponent media.

As for myself I say the media can say what ever it wants yet its labour has the right to strike over it, for example if the workers at Fox News want to strike over its lies then not only do they have every right but this is a much better way of shutting these morons up then just saying they have no right to say it.

 

This is where Bakuninists (Anarchist) disagree with Marxist, Bakunin thought Marx was an authoritarian and tried to overthrow Marx yet this only branched the movement. Marxist plan is gain state power to build a new society while Bakuninist plan is the new society to overthrow the state.

I was just refuting the idea of holding physical labours higher then other workers, I don't want any "The industrial workers will lead the revolution" "No the farmers will" "No the lumpen (underclass) will" you can't have a classess society if your too busy fighting who is more equal then who.

I'm not worried about communism per sec. It's some of those clowns in DC that worry me and the way choices have been taken away from people, especially when it comes to selecting a President and other federal officials. The weeding out of political competition by the RNC and DNC is disturbing.

I love communism threads you get the 14-19 y/o`s who dont know anything about struggle and strife posting about how great it (communism) is and then you get the other extreme of comumunists SUCK and are idiots..I dont see anyone from a communist country posting on here EVER and if communism is so great why are hundreds if not thousands of people trying to get out of Cuba....and why do those that land on the shores of Florida HATE Castro and Cuba ...if something is great you generally dont risk your life to get away...if you dont learn from your mistakes you are doomed to repeat them........

I'm astounded that there are people that seriously suggest communism as a reasonable and attainable form of government. Has history taught you absolutely nothing? Wake up from your utopian day dream. People aren't all equal. We don't all deserve the same peice of the economic pie. The person who refuses to work in favor of drinking and day time television has not earned the right to make the same living as a highly trained scientist.

Capitalism isn't perfect, but it's light years beyond communism. Motivation, determination, and hard work should always be the deciding factor for our position in society.

And yes, I do feel that economic success is part of living a good life. I want to spend my life travelling, flying and yachting. That's not to say that life cannot be good without money, but to achieve my personal goals, wealth is required.

 

I don't see Capitalism as very intrusive, where Communism is intrusive in everything it does...
