I just lost a game of backgammon because I didn't roll a 3 Instead I rolled a 2 and a 4, which were no fucking use to me because I needed a 3 What if, if you didn't like your roll you could sell one of your numbers in exchange for a mean bean where you can calculate the average between the two numbers, which also happens to be the mean anyway because there are only two variables, and then I'd have 3 and then I wouldn't have ended up stuck on a gammon and I might not have lost that game
i kind of like solo majong. wouldn't know the first thing about playing with or against anyone. chess, yess. chess is good. i usually don't have the patience to look enough moves deep to do any good with it. i did when i was little, oddly enough.
I'm surprised how many people I know don't understand chess. I played it all the time. When you get to a certain point all games of checkers end in a draw. Time to move up
What most people don't understand is that backgammon is a gambling game. There is an element of skill, it's both luck and skill. You can improve your chances of winning by playing tactfully and that involves knowing when to play for double, but it's ultimately the dice that decide. I used to enjoy playing chess, but to be honest I could never really master it, or I never had the patience to try. It's the king of strategy games, no question.
