Most of my dreams are pretty clearly not predictions of the future. However, I have had one dream that makes me wonder and I feel like I have to share this with somebody soon. In this dream, I am in a classroom and a bunch of people are discussing something that happened that has to do with Russia. It either happened in Russia or very close to Russia and Russia is involved. It is very bad, very tragic but I don't know what happened. All I know is that there is much death and destruction and the whole world is shocked. It is like how many people felt on September 11, 2001 in the United States. I honestly hope this dream never comes true, but I just had this awful feeling when I woke up.
a dream of social anxiety and learning . it doesn't feel prophetic , however it is does portray a primary aspect of the current planetary psychological reality related to events. we already know of social anxiety that it can be manipulated . what do we need to learn ?
I suspect it's not prophetic. My dreams tend to have more vivid colours when they are prophetic. However, this one had me really scared.
When I was a kid, there was a severe hurricane that was supposed to hit Florida. I have family in Florida, so my family and I were all concerned about out family members in FL. It wasn't supposed to hit near them, though. It was supposed to hit north of them. Like in Tampa or Clearwater, which is about 2 hours North of Port Charlotte.-- That night, I went to bed and dreamed I was talking to a weather woman. She was saying how there was a hurricane that was supposed to hit Florida, and I told her that I had family that lived there. She asked me where in FL they lived, and I told her "I don't remember the name of the city, but I know it's near Port Charlotte." After I said that, she looked at me very seriously and said "you better get them out of there!"-- So the next morning I woke up, and watched on the news that over night, the hurricane had changed it's course and completely devastated Port Charlotte. There was no way that I could have known that! I went to bed under the impression that the hurricane was supposed to hit Clearwater! (My family was fine, by the way. They were 45min north of PC.) But anyway, would that be considered a prophetic dream? What causes prophetic dreams? I've always wondered about that! and to this day, I still wonder about that dream, and what it could have meant!!
the only problem with prophetic dreams, and i believe that is where deje vu comes from, is that your never for sure they are, until what they predicted has actually happened, and how long after dreaming them it does so, is unpredictably random. anywhere from days to years or even centuries. and even then, what they predict is as often allegorical as literal. its amusing to know that they happen, and that we all have them. just not very useful as the name would imply.
