I never stop assuming a good day but good to you as well hayzues. we don't know anything unless it is shared or we don't know what we have unless we are able to share it.
So here you are, insisting on debating with me. Do you not know that your statement has a combative undertone? You've made yourself clear, I know your motive. I could easily ignore you, move past you, but at the same time, I do like to acknowledge and make an attempt for understanding anyway. I've not read past what I've quoted because, again, I'm not here to debate with you. You'll have plenty of people who will be on your side and will agree with you, and you all can even take over the thread and crash it if you want to, as you high five each other in your mutual beliefs. You know why I don't want to engage with you. You've already got me on a bitty hook and I don't want to be on your hook, fisherman. I'm done now.
I'm not jeesums. Some have said "yes you are" which makes me laugh because it sounds like "yeshua". hahahahahaha. But no, I'm not. I may be true but I'm not Jesus the Christ. sigh.. Well, I can't say I don't have bad days. I do. But today is .. okay. Not terrible. I think I know what you mean about not knowing anything unless it's shared. Some things seem to have no meaning, value or worth if they're solo.
An interesting allusion. Kundabuffer is a term I've only come across in the context of Gurdjieff's 'Beelzebub's Tales'. I don't think it has much to do with any concept of Kundalini.
i like to force people who believe in "new agey" stuff to face what they believe in with logic and reasoning. most of the time they come close to realizing that thier beliefs are not based in logic and have negative reaction. this negative reaction stems from the fact that they use logic in their every-day life but when it comes to their "new agey" beliefs logic stops working. this is especially stressful when you identify yourself through your beliefs (i am christian, or i am a twin flame or however you might identify yourself). Cognitive dissonance: in psychology, cognitive dissonance is the mental stress or discomfort experienced by an individual who holds two or more contradictory beliefs, ideas, or values at the same time. sheela, you are a text book example.
Here is another reference,http://gnosticteachings.org/books-by-samael-aun-weor/the-elimination-of-satans-tail/288-the-kundabuffer-organ.html I haven't read the book.
Sorry thedope, I thought you were being a wiseass, joking around. I googled and now I'm watching this guy .. http://youtu.be/XbFO2RQ5JUY
I just checked with my source .. she's got no info on kundabuffer. But I am going to bring it to her and see what she says.
Maybe so. In 1974 I saw an add in the personal classifieds of a seattle newspaper, it said only gurdjieff/ouspensky and a phone number. I spent a couple of years doing group experiments but of course truly helpful individuals seem to be more broadly dispersed than what you might find in a clique sworn to secrecy and such crap. Just too much dead weight for my pace of investigations. The wise man takes from his stores some of what is old and some of what is new.
Thing is though, by 1974 Gurdjieff was long gone. But I'm not really advocating Gurdjieff's work, and even less so groups who base themselves on it. However, 'Beelzebub's Tales to His Grandson' is a very singular and unique work. Probably one of the strangest books of the 20th century. I found it very interesting, but I think that you'd have to have a screw loose to take a lot of what is in there at face value. The stuff about the organ kundabuffer (a term I'm pretty sure Gurdjieff coined) is clearly some kind of analogy. No doubt there are people out there who take it otherwise. But there are people who will believe just about anything, or so it seems.
Oh, it is specifically down there? I thought that term counted for all cysts caused by hair follicles or ingrown hairs and stuff. Glad you got rid of it
Got over it? You mean emotional? Or does got over it mean you were treated and healed, physically? ...
From what I gathered, it's just a story about the coccyx. It's got me wondering why I've never heard of this kundabuffer before.
