Proper Age to take LSD?

I think I was 14 the first time I dosed. It all really depends on your mindset going into it. I'm only 16 now so I'm really not in any position to give much advice on the matter. It seems smarter to wait until you are older, but hell, I've probably tripped over a hundred of times, counting mushrooms as well and personally I'm really glad I have that experience under my belt, because although my I have always gotten a lot out of my trips, they are reaching a whole new level lately, which I explained in a thread I started in this same forum. But then again, if you are worried enough to ask for our advice, maybe you should wait at least another year or two. My advice is to take 1 hit your first time and aquaint yourself with the basic feeling that L gives you and maybe move up from there. Make sure the setting is right, concerts are my fave but you gotta make sure it's the right scene (i wouldn't really want to trip at a metal show), like a jam concert where half the people there are spun out of their minds. I love groovin all night to some p groove or any of the other band that throws down when I'm tripping. That's my 2 cents.

 

youve tripped over a hundred times in two years? hory cow! I am so glad that I took acid at fifteen. Older people get more set in their ways and are far less open to new concepts. The young mind is capable of accepting anything it can think of, and so in my humble opinion, psychedelics are made for children. If people would stop looking at psychedelics like other illicit drugs, and see them as tools for enlightenment, I think our society would be in a better place. Hell, indigenous Americans took part in peyote and mushroom ceremonies when they were like twelve or younger. Its all about the environment you are in. If you look at it like a recreational drug, then thats what it will manifest as. If you look at it as a religious experience, then thats what youll get. If you look at it as medicine for your mind, then thats what it will be.

 

i think the best time to trip is once your brain has finished developing.

i don't think you can grow into being ready
it is a drug, thats all there is too it
as with all drugs there are are subtle consequences that you won't see until its probably too late
if you are gunna trip at a young age at least have a sitter and don't be in public
and give your mind time to recover if you decide to trip again

 

i agree with this as well though
because if you ar supposed to wait till your brain develops to start drinking alcohol then it should have some relevance to lsd
