some people talk so ghetto it's unintelligible so sometimes it's hard to tell exactly what really was said
I have this issue. The words still and hill and there might be others come out as steel and heel, unless I consciously think about it before saying it. Usually I don't have an accent but I think when I say things like that I sound very Southern. I don't say peel though, when I mean pill...for some reason that one is easy. I also do it vice versa, heel, sometimes sounds like hill. None of it bothers me but my grandma says a lot of things in a very thick country accent. I think it's kind of cute.
I had an acquaintance that constantly used the word ideal instead of the word idea. It used to drive me crazy since she was constantly having ideas (ideals).
