that they're not hollywood.....i saw i heart huckabees in the movie store the other day and i was looking at it...it was released by Fox Films, same thing that releases star wars...so what makes it indie?

favorite type of cookie? and can someone please tell me the difference between a biscuit and a cookie? I've gotten some weird answers that lead me to believe people just flip a coin and call what they're eating a cookie or a biscuit.

aren't they the same thing? I've never really used the word 'cookie' so i wouldn't know. But if i had to separate i'd say things like those pink wafers with vanilla filling and timtams would be biscuits, the farmbake range is more cookie.

and, um, the cookie time one with mega stressed grandad chunks of chocolate.

oh and by indie, i don't mean literally independant. With parent companies owning practically everything ever made nowadays - i swear it's just a matter of time before we get things like StarbucksAOLTimeWarnerFoxNike presents Walmart - lietrally independant stuff is very hard to come by.
By 'indie' I mean it almost as genre, like horror or western. It sort of sums up the quirky movies that are starting to abound, y'know movies that are not entirley predictable, with stars either playing against type, hamming up what they are famous for or with unknowns in the starring roles. Movies with good scripts and with a soundtrack by the likes of Interpol, the arcade Fire, the Shins etc...
Wes Anderson is the king of that 'indie' genre.

anyway, i digress....favourite Wes Anderson film? (you get to pick out of Bottle rocket, Rushmore, The Royal Tenenbaums and The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou).

lime and chilli all the way. and life aquatic is good, if you are expecting a wes andersonish film though, it's not his bestest ever work, but if you are just watching it as a comedy its awesome.

favourite thing about getting up super early and baking, doing washing and cleaning (ha, i so feel like the mum on Desperate Housewives, when she takes her kids' medicine and is all 'my, what big eyes you have')

ah, yeah i usually got that "cookies were like homemade" and biscuits were storebought...but the line always got blured on something like chocolate chip cookies..but yeah, that makes sense soph :)

ahahaha, now that would have been a sight. favourite thing about that would probably be the entertainment you provide for the masses?

when there is a party at your flat, and there are random people everywhere, including a couple having a BIIIIG domestic in your bedroom, what is your favourite thing about awesome people who let you call them and drunkenly moan at 3am, even though they are sober, and, because your bedroom is inaccesible, they let you come and sleep the night in their bed, despite having an essay to do the next day?

that it's not the old one - i mean, that was iconic but but actually somewhat offensive. Gahh, i'm quite jealous of people that went to the brook and saw it, it must have been an electric atmosphere.
I watched it at home on the delayed tv 3 coverage, by myself...oh until my flatmate came in at half time, thought the game had finished and pretty much told me who won. grrrr.

fav thing about getting the flat shop done for $40?

aww, that sucks. I'm glad i was there for that.. Why was the old one was offensive? cause it was some tribe's haka that used to beat up on some other tribe? This one has a throat slash that some might find offensive

lol, the devilish feeling you get and the ability to greet people with a sneaky 'i know something you don't know' attitude.

favourite thing about going to school 80% sure you failed a test and having the lecturer tell the class that we did shit and that more than half of us failed so you are 99.99% sure you failed and then getting it back and ACTUALLY PASSING? not well of course, but hey a B- is magic.

In those cases, you have to look at mark relative to other peoples! And a B- in test that half the class failed is radness to the maximus! Vell Dun! Yess, and the feeling of Eliteness that comes with it is nice!

Favourite thing about delicious seedless grapes... mm, juicy as.
