eeew, pelicans. They terrify the living daylights out of me.
and the best place to eat lunch is on the bank of the leith, under the willows where the sun goes all slidy and slanty. It's so cool.

as for superstition...lol, I don't believe they'll come true but I have the habit of twisting the stalk of an apple until it comes off - each twist is a letter of the alphabet, and the letter it comes off on is the first initial of the person you will marry. Same with the ring tab on a beer can - twist it back and forth until it snaps off on the the initial of your beloved

well, seeing as today is very definitely NOT sunny and my feet have been replaced with large blocks of ice, my favourite thing to do is going to be going home and wrapping myself up in a blanket and watching feej do a fashion show of her air nelson uniform.

mm, down here my stripy polar fleece one. it's yummy warm, but i might have to invest in the $6 polar fleece one at the bed shop. It's bright green with little lambies on it. It's cute and toasty. all you need in a blanket really.
