Why do some people with a bratty attitude earn the nick name 'princess' when an actual princess is known to be humble? Shouldn't it be a compliment to be called a princess and not an insult?
I don't think it's a compliment to be named after someone who had all their wealth, privilege and respect given to them by right of their birth only and who is paid for by the taxes of the working class. :sunny:
Should. Sadly too many have this idea they should really be treated like queens while failing to see they're only acting like jokers.
This. calling someone a princess means that they have a ridiculous sense of entitlement and are spoilt beyond recognition.
I cant think of a single real life princess in the whole world who's actually humble. They might use the word in pr, but never actions. So called Royals are nothing but parasites, cowards, greedy, talentless scum. Russia had the right idea with them. And the colloqual term "princess" has lots of meaning. A guy might call his Mrs/girlfriend "princess" or whatever, where it IS meant as a huge compliment. But most other times, calling someone a "princess" means they're being called a dickhead of the lowest order. Basically someone of no value/ importance who is full of shite. ie the sarcastic meaning.
I think a true princess should be a humble and kind woman, strong and true to her husband, and be able to fuck his brains out.
I despise disney (the company, not walt), but I think disney princess characteristics and morals are always admirable and what I think would be expected of a real life princess.
well what about the terms: JAP: Jewish American princess or CAP: Cuban American Princess these are even more derogatory.
That woman wasnt remotely humble. More like a nacissistic, publicity seeking, delusional, full of shit dickhead. With no morals and a very expensive pr team. If Hitler had a big pr team like her, many people would say "Oh Adolf, he's a good guy". Infact, many monsters DO manage to convince the public how "great" they are when in reality they're full of shite. Spencer was just a posh Jade Goodie. But instead of being a down to earth idiot, she created all this extra bullshit. The idea that despite her hundreds of millions of taxpayers money, she was actually "persecuted". She thought that shaking hands with a homosexual with AIDS would somehow equate her to Mother Teresa. A nasty, overmaterialist attention whore, who never did a days work in her life. Acted like a hore anyway, was a complete schemer (ask the Archbshop of Canterbury) and had no positive qualities at all. Basically, a mascot for Monarchism and all the nepotisitc bullshit that entailed. Remember all the charities she resigned as patron of, because she thought it was too much like hard work. I cant say it was a sad day when her outrageously irresponsible joyriding escapade ended in her death. The press coverage of it all was a joke. Either that, or she was murdered by her own kind, who arent any different anyhow. Good riddance, IMO.
Very interesting. Thanks for the reply. I don't know much about her but she always seemed to be a humanitarian.
You're going to get an ulcer if you keep your emotions bottled up like that. I always think of Han Solo and the disparaging/sarcastic way he said "princess" when I hear that word.
