I need some advice? I just started carrying Hemp Twine in my product line. Selling them at festivals & such . Just posted some on my web site. What is a good deal for like hemp twine,,50# balls? I am selling them 9 balls for $18.00 bucks ,,,which is $2.00 per ball plus shipping. Is this a good deal? What do you hemp necklace makers buy your twine for? What is TOO MUCH ??
i think that's a really good deal, if you are talking the amount i think you are... the actual balls of hemp, not just a few loops like they would sell in a necklace kit, right? i buy mine from a garden supply website ~ just for the consistency in the rope which wasn't even so great this last time i bought it ~ for about $3/ball for the thinnest size and $4.50 for the 48lb ~ the 48lb is 280ft of hemp.
i just checked out your site again i may have just found a new hemp supplier hehe those are better prices than i have found most places.
wow ~ ok cool ~ What about the differance between cord & twine? Cord is more expensive I know but is it better? I used to make hemp jewerly all the time and did not pay much attention back then at what I was spending etc... I would just go to a bead shop & go crazy! LOL ~ So now I am looking at it from a business standpoint - LOL The hemp is in balls ,,,,50 gram balls ,,,not just a few feet like in the "kits"They are actual balls on a roll thingy! I have the 9 balls on my closeout page cuss I wasn't sure if it was a good deal or not. What about colored hemp twine?? More expensive or the same? I have a 6 ball package for $15.00 dollars includes shipping. You get 3 colors & 3 natural. Then the 9 for $18.00. Just trying to see if this is in the ball park of what buyer of hemp twine would pay????
that sounds really good. How strong is the twine? I've been fighting a constant battle to find good quality, cheap twine in the quantities I need. Have you got pics that show the size of the twine? Could you measure the breaking strain?
