My husband would be like "why the hell are you wearing a t-shirt of a person on hipforums.... are you trying to be 12 now or something?" ... yea, I don't think he'd like it or get the humor of it. lol. (oh but yea, he's known I've posted here since 2003 or whatever. I don't have secrets from him.)

But I wouldn't want to do it anyways... I'm too busy to send out mail on time anymore. I have 20 pen pals that I've had since a kid and I owe them all letters for at least a year...

I started writing to most of them when I was between 10 and 13, yeah. I have met about 7 of them in person... people from England and Ireland and Austria that have visited here and I talk to them on the phone and online and via texting now but yea, pen pals and I really don't care if it sounds like something a little kid does. We swap things like stationary and stickers and decos from Japan. In any case, yea, they are really more friends now than pen pals but started off as pen pals.

And...what was your point, or did you have one?

Because MY initial point was I haven't returned any of their mail (swaps) in over a year (and I've known them forever), so I shouldn't be signing up to return any other mail either because time issues.

*oh wait, I think I get it now. reading to cason while I read this so not fully focusing --but yea, I didn't mean that I think the t-shirt thing is something that 12 year olds would do. I said that is what my husband would say to me...and I only say that because, after 15 years, I know him well enough to know exactly what he would say to me if I had some shirt of some guy from a forum and explained the concept to him. Doesn't mean I think that. I think it's pretty funny and liked the pics that the first person took.

And I don't care if his point was that penpals are something that 12 year olds do either.
It's no different me swapping swap boxes and decos and stationary/scrapbooking supplies, etc back and forth w them than it is people on here doing swap boxes. Same thing. They are people I've known forever who when I had more time I would swap w a lot. They started off as penpals and ended up as friends that I swapped things with.
So, if my initial point was, that I haven't had time to return their swaps... then what was his point? That 12 year olds swap things? Oh well. That's his opinion and I really could care less. I'm just glad I don't make fun of anyone else for what they like to do. :)

    Back to PR t-shirt, Please.
