Now, Mr. Trump did say he would have their backs. And there is that now-famous picture of him waving the rainbow flag. So what if anything has Trump done for the LGBT during his presidency? And if he has broken his promise to them, who says he won't break his promise to the right too?
Well he announced that trans people couldn't serve in the military by tweet. A bunch of stuff at HUD and DOJ. The Discrimination Administration
llgbt2xr2d2 laws vary from state to state. I wouldnt get my panties in a bunch. But I dont use my sexuality to gain social justice or leverage in society - In which I think a lot of people do to gain attention. Cant piss here, kicked out there, not hired here.. Ect. And it was holding up a defence spending bill. it wasnt Trump, Trump just gave in on the issue with more conservative Republicans to get the bill through
What needs to be done? Its 2018 LGBT contains the letter B. Its 2018....so where are all the openly bi people? Your country, my country, all of the first world...where are they all? Can you even name a single openly bi male famous person?
Consider what he hasn't done. So far not he nor anyone in his administration has even remotely suggested going after gay marriage. You'd think a hard core conservative would be slobbering through their enthusiasm to end that. But then, Trump is not really much of a republican. I'll believe it when I see it, but he's also suggested relaxing federal marijuana laws, something I expected from Clinton and Obama and didn't get.
During their admins there wasnt a high % of states with medical or legal cannabis as there is today under Trumps. Early reform efforts were taken in California during Clinton and Bush. The rest is a long story of cannabis reform throughout the country.
