I am not up on current events in Iran. But their government has been clear and consistant in it`s hatred of the USA and it`s determination to do all that it can to help destroy our nation. They might have nuclear capabilities. They are one of a growing number of wild cards out there determined to do all they can to harm our nation and it`s people.

The new president of Iran has asked to re-visit negotiations over their nuclear program, they're meeting next month. The new president seems very interested in mending ties. It will be interesting to see what happens.

 

Recent polls indicate Americans overwhelmingly OPPOSED to American military intervention in Syrian civil war. Most especially the air strikes Obama has been threatening with or without Congressional approval. This opposition includes large majorities of both parties. Americans are standing up to this rogue president. Obama has chosen to ignore American public opinion. It is time to impeach this extremely dangerous president who seems determined to pursue his pro-islamic brotherhood policies no matter what the consequences may be for not only our nation, but the entire world. Perhaps it will take a Putin to clean up the extremely dangerous mess Obama has created in the middle east if it can be done at all. Obama has pushed our world into this most dangerous situation in my lifetime. Because of the proliferation of nuclear and other weapons of mass destruction, arguably the most dangerous period ever.
Our president, Obama, is in my opinion a stealth jihadi. He is placing dangerous moslem jihadis in positions of authority in the NSA, FBI, military and where ever he can sneak them in.

The violence in Iraq has increased a lot as a result of US arming of Syrian rebels many of whom are closely tied to extremist groups. You can read about that here:

So we armed and aided the Libyan rebels and that nation is now a center of islamist terror and violence. We are now doing exactly the same thing in Syria and producing the very same results. But it is for some unknown reason the right thing to do because Obama says so ? And this violence is spilling over into the entire very large area called the middle east.
But this is all fine with so many here because this is what Obama wants ? Are you Obama supporters simply stupid or also insane ? Obama is a moslem brotherhood supporter. These people dedicate their lives to killing anyone who disagrees with them including each other. And now Iraq is falling back into very violent chaos. What is all this leading to ? Is this the opening rounds of a WWIII ? I have a hard time understanding the lack of concern about all this. Oscar, going to take the opposite tack here and say that The Arab Spring was only possible with Barack Obama in the White House.

Not for what President did, but who he is: a descendant of a Moslem Father. He had attended a Black Liberation church previously. Videos of Reverend Wright espousing his beliefs are on you tube for all to see.

Had we an Evangelical Christian President, Arab propagandists would have been able to portray him as a Crusader, and tool of Israel. Threatening Arabs.

Absent the external threat of a crusading evangelical, Arab peoples were able to look internally at the corruption and defects of their own governments; and took action to rebel.

Arab peoples did not feel threatened, and took the opportunity to fix things at home. It is an on-going process.

I could go on and on. These are some but not all of the countries involved in this " Arab Spring " you referred to. If you take the time to read some of those links this " Arab Spring " is often referred to and Obama surely is being given a lot of the credit for creating this ongoing but never ending event. So you think this " Arab Spring " is something the USA is supposed to be happy about ? And do you think the people living or dieing in these countries are happy about it ? Well I'm not saying The President created The Arab Spring. Yes America is powerful but we are in error if we proclaim it is all of our doing, give credit to Arab peoples reacting to current events.

Let me give some credit to Julian Assanuge and Wilki Leaks also. His docu-drop was hailed by anarchists here as a blow to the Anglosphere, but it was the less- stable Arabic nations where it's disclosures were catalyst for change.

I don't think anybody is happy with the violence, death or mere destruction of property. espeically those living there. It does seem an intellectual improvement over blaming Jews, Israel or the Anglos for their troubles.

The Arab world is undergoing the types of changes that The West went through in The Sixties; where established beliefs are challenged through new ideas and new media. So many Arab families have members educated or living in The West. The use of English language is growing amongst Arabs. Commerce is bringing diverse peoples together. The Arabic Miss USA of two years ago had a big impact on Arab identity and image.

But just like The Sixties, reactionary organizations are having a push-back.
