Nah, doesn't even make it into that evil dead, saw, or lepercauhn category for me. Neither enjoyable nor entertaining for me.
there was a movie about half a decade ago with a single truck like chasing people around that was pretty bad/awesome anyone know what movie I'm talking about?
idk what you are talking about but it makes me think of the truck rival for K.I.T.T. on knight rider called "goliath"
yah that might be it porkstock, after reading the synopsis. Now I have my horror movies mixed up though I thought that was a camping one.
The Car was the first movie to be like Christine ,,ever heard if it?>, http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0075809/
damn.. The Car?.. I had seen it in a drive in with my parents, never again. I like "The Duel" too.... that movie made me lol that little dart car trying to get away.. lol..

Duel was intensely suspensful, and I like that there was only like five sentences spoken in the whole movie. Maximum overdrive, although the redneck movie of the century, was pretty awesome. Jeepers creepers was a ball of cheese, imo Christine is of course a classic I've yet to see the car, but here I go to btjunkie/
really .. ima have to look into that.. A trucking company my dad worked for, Their trucks are in the Maximum Overdrive movie. This companies trucks were also in the Smokey and the bandit 3, I believe its when there was a brigde made of trucks.. trucking films were pretty popular then..
I love Pink Floyd--especially DSOTM. It's more prog and less psych, and yea it's the PF album "everyone" loves, but I don't give a shit. It's a magnum opus of one of the best bands of a very fruitful era. I love some Grateful Dead, and am indifferent to or dislike others. I generally prefer their early work, like the Pig Pen years...basically '72 and earlier. To me it was more psychedelic and adventurous. I also dig The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Jefferson Airplaine, Jimi Hendrix (one of my favorite artists ever), Janis Joplin / Big Brother & the Holding Co. That was a great time for rock n roll.
ugh, DSOTM is the most overrated boring album ever. that one album in particular is the one thats always on at a hippie friends house, and its the same album that the [lets say "dabbler"] is playing, now i like prog but i dont see it in DSOTM give me Tool or King Crimson any day. i remember the first time i listened to it. everyone and their mother was telling me what an amazing album it was blah blah blah, and the whole time i was waiting for the ggo part
For 1972/73 DSOTM was progressive as hell, especially given the recording techniques of the time. It definitely set a standard for musique concrete too.

Oh come on Orison, the backround noises and conversations in Pros and Cons of Hitchiking are so sub standard compared to Amused to Death. It's like Alan's Psychedelic Breakfast compared to DSOTM

Well I was tossing it in there to stay with the off topic theme going about cars and trucks.. Money get back I'm alright Jack keep your hands off my stack New car, caviar, four star daydream, Think I'll buy me a football team Teacher: What have we here, laddie? Mysterious scribblings? A secret code? No! ... Absolute rubbish, laddie. :note the lyrics in the Wall are not the lyrics in the DSOTM Money, they are in a different order.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s0D5QMhLLw0"]YouTube - pink floyd - empty spaces / young lust
