I didn't "sleep around." Please don't disrespect me and make it sound as if I'm a whore. I had sex with two people that I love. I have been wanting to have a child for about a year now. This was planned and very much wanted. I want to be close to my child as I already am and talk about everything (including sex and relationships) so don't make assumptions about the future of my child. I'm going to raise this child to be loving, kind, and open minded.

You planned to have a child without knowing who the father is? Totally immoral. I take it the three of you didn't sit around a table and say "hey, I know, lets have a little lottery! Whoever wins can get a prize for best sperm. Oh also, lets mix things up and bypass the DNA test in favour of internet psychic advice. Perfect!"

Cut the crap, admit you've arsed this up, and talk to your doctor about DNA. I genuinely wish you the best of luck with your baby.

Now I see what's going on- someone you were in a realationship with fucked you over, right? So you're taking it out on other women. All of your posts make you seem sexist. It appears to me that you hate women. Who the heck is whining about carrying a child?? Not me. Why did you make that assumption?? This is an experience, an amazing one..carrying a child. I'll give birth and see him grow up. I am having a great time. Your rants are too long and don't make sense and your name calling is adolescent.

Rainy, do you really think arguing on a forum is the best use of your time right now? I'm a carefree student, so can afford these luxuries, plus I don't just go for the old yell at eachother for no reason approach. If I was pregnant with an illegitimate child I'd be busy talking with those potential fathers and keeping my stress levels low. I'd also stop wailing about receiving the advice you asked for.

Everyone needs to calm down take a few breaths. So you're bringing a beautiful baby into the world with lots of loving support from your family and friends I congratulate you! As for knowing who the father is that is a DNA thing. An internet psychic isn't going to give you the answer. And because you've asked this question you're getting negative comments. That's the reason.
They were dicks telling you to get an abortion and to give your baby up for adoption. That's not there place and it's fucking insensitive.
But i'm sorry, asking on the internet for a psychic to tell you who the father of your baby is... is ridiculous. I get if it was just for fun in the time being while waiting for actual real results. Fine.

People make grand assumptions of others based on one occurence. And it's horrible I know. I'm sure you'll make a great mother, I definetly don't want to stomp on your spiritual/supersticious side. But let's be real. You're bringing a little person into the world.

And I think you're being irresponsible

I just have one thing to contribute to this thread, and it really has nothing to do with the OP's situation but more so with things that have been said by other people.

Generally speaking, a child that is raised by both a mother and a father is going to be the most ideal situation. But advising someone to have an abortion because their kid won't have a father is really ignorant, not to mention a weird statement that I don't quite understand.

In some cases a child is better off being raised by a single mother. My dad died when I was little, and some people may think this is a really fucked up thing to say, but my quality of life rose exponentially when he passed away.

Two parents is not always the best situation and two parents can fuck up a child just as much as one.

I wanted a psychic's advice on this and nothing more. Some spiritual guidance. I've already had several psychic's in person actually tell me who I'm supposed to be with and why it can't work with the other person. Maybe I just wanted to hear it again because I am having a hard time letting go. This is the man I married. I don't see how seeking a psychic's guidance is irresponsible. It's therapy for me. Even with a psychic's advice it doesn't mean I am going to act upon it. While I whole heartedly believe in psychics, I think they can be wrong sometimes. Lastly, this pregnancy has been an amazing experience for me and I will take full responsibility for my child. I can't wait to help this kid learn and grow and take on adventures.

I didn't judge you. Perhaps you're judging yourself. You asked a question on the internet, it's open for replies. You got my opinion/advice. I wasn't exactly harsh with it!

I honestly believe you can be a good mother, regardless of this child having a father or not. But the idea that "love is all you need" is old fashioned and wrong. Children need more than love. They need stability, care and enough money to give them a good quality of life. You need to do the best that you can to provide for that child. Love won't feed a child and clothe it.

Totally just contradicted yourself in a sentence, but at least we've just discovered that you don't believe psychics are 'always' right. Does this tell you nothing? Do yourself, your child and these two men a favour and get a DNA test done as soon as you are able to. It's selfish not to.

I only said All you need is love because there is too much negativity in this thread. I wanted to post something positive.

I don't think I contradicted myself. Just like anything else in life, nothing is certain. Nothing is 100%..things get messed up and mixed up. Nothing is guaranteed. So I think psychics can make mistakes in their readings sometimes.

Same here. I almost felt guilty thinking that way. But I felt free. He was something of a drunk tyrant. Found out later he wasn't my real father. That was a relief. Our personalities clashed big time!
