No. Harry Potter is meant to entertain tons of people and it will

Backstreet boys were made to woo a bunch of little girls. And they did. Mission accomplished. They weren't trying to be recognized for their musical ability.

Jackass - around 79 million dollars brought in world wide

Harry Potter and Order of the Phoenix - Just about a billion in the states alone

    No comparison

    Harry Potter is huge

This is my problem with the Twilight series. I started, and even though I am far from impressed, I gotta finish.

I like Harry Potter. I'm no mega fan, but I enjoy the movies. I'll wait till it comes out on DVD though. I didn't like the books, which is an odd switch for me.

I haven't seen any of the harry potter movies or and of the lord of the rings, I just hate that fantasy shit and from what I've seen on the adverts they look kind of dark. I like bright and beautiful movies with hawt people. I don't think I could watch that Daniel Radcliff for the length of a movie or Elijah Wood in lord of the rings. He freaks me out bleugh. But ya'll enjoy it!

I probably should have suggested that everyone go find a copy of / youtube "wizard people dear reader" which is a dubbed version of the first harry potter movie and is most hilarious, and again post modern, which i seem to think is a synonym for pseudo high brown.

I almost went today, but time constraints got in the way. Probably go tomorrow. While I can wait for DVD, my brother is chomping at the bit.

Our local theatre is never busy. Very small town and the theatre only shows movies on two screens.
