i usually just use the mic built into my laptop...ive been surprised at how nicely it works but it gets a lot of hum from the hard drives. if im not using that then i use my old usb mic that i have from my playstation, came with the game Socom US Navy Seals and that works pretty good

Not gonna lie, the cannon rock is really brutal. the flute thing is hysterical though so good job.

Captain Cannabis, you sound like your pretty good at guitar, but metal music makes absolutely zero sense. Please learn to play a real style of music.

I just did this one about 10 minutes ago... The fuckin' drums are way too fast at the beginning because I forgot to change the drum loop but oh well....

I'll probably try to do a solo over it later just for fun.

 

Haha you are 100 percent correct. Metal just doesn't appeal to me at all. I've just never really been into blood and death and all that jazz. There's some awesome guitar solos in a lot of metal songs, but I've heard way more shitty "playing as many notes as fast as I can" soloing.

Is the point to get pissed off when you listen to it?

 

metal isnt all about death like everyone thinks. thats the typical fucking stereotype for someone who listens to heavy metal.

it really depends on the band and everything nowadays is fuckin stupid except for a few bands still puttin out real music.

i dont personally listen to metal to get pissed off, i just relate to it so much and get an overwhelming feeling that i just cant explain whenever i hear someones struggles going into their music. its beautiful sometimes.

Sort of bluesy/psychedelic rock improv

Some friends of mine, was a party at Edan, bassists house with Sam (15) on guitar, Edan (17) on bass and Clement (19) on drums. Theres a bit of talking to start off with but then they get playing. Everything was just improvised, nothing rehearsed. Some fucking good musicians there man. Got a much better jam from the morning uploading now which I'll put up in a min.
