I think the term sounds pretty stupid, but whatever. One thing that has worked for me was a disc cleaner. My fiance had this old game Republic Commandos, and it was pretty scratched up and didn't work properly anymore. So he's tried several pricey disc cleaners and even peanut butter (heard that helps but it didn't work) and finally he tried rubbing a banana (peeled, of course) all over the disc. He then rinsed it, wiped it off, and then surprisingly it worked perfectly. So if you have any damaged discs, don't throw them away until you try this :2thumbsup:
I recently discovered using dryer sheets to clean your baseboards if you have a pet that sheds a lot. I have a furry black dog that sheds a dustpan full of thick hair every day, so this comes in pretty handy for me.
To make your own hummingbird nectar, boil 1 cup of water and add 1/4 cup of sugar, stir until dissolved and add bright food colouring. Far cheaper to make your own than to buy it.
yes.. however, in my case., I have a whole row, probably 60 feet or more of Rose of Sharon's.. I have many humming birds.. and BEES..

I've heard that tooth paste will fix a scratched cd if you apply it and then rub it off but not any whitening kind that has abrasives because that will scratch the disc more but supposedly it fills in the scratches and allows it to work
Leave out the food coloring, the color of the nectar isn't what attracts the birds... I used to feed hundreds of them when I lived in California, 3 feeders and 2 gallons of nectar a day. Was quite a busy place.
needed a place to chill outside, neighbor through away a couch...was like haul that shit over here, but mom made me get rid of it....was a cool place to take a nap, I had it propped against the side of the house, and the roof gave me some shade. I figured why pay a bunch of money for an outside couch.
