    I bought this guitar for $219 in 1997. This guitar plays better than most $2000-$3000 guitars I've played.

    hmmm... wow, interesting hohner Martin 40s series copy... never seen many hohners that actually look that nice.

    I've only met one other person who also owns the Hohner. The beauty of this guitar is it is all solid wood: subtle bearclaw spruce soundboard w/ D35 style 3 piece rosewood back and rosewood sides.

    Ahhh... I've heard of that model. I know someone who owns one of those on a guitar forum.

    thanks man, it serves me well. I have other instruments, but the SG is what I prefer to use most often. Its been well played, most of the finish has come off the back of the neck, and it has some nice dings from being used but the sound is just right.

    I dont have a pic of my strat, but couldnt help but add in after seeing everyones great gear.
