    From left to right:

El Purplio: My brothr gave it this name, and it stuck. i bought this guitar because it was fairly decent, and it was purple and had a cool inlay. It's built from maple wood, and has a kind of warm tone to it. I think it sounds somewhat dull though.

12-String: I decided it was time to get a 12 string not long after, and the result was this. it's a tanglewood, a mid-range priced guitar maker in the UK. It may not have a respectable name on it, but it sure does have a respectable sound. many people comment that it sounds like i paid twice what I did for it.

New 6-string: eventually, i grew tired of El Purplio, and i wanted a fresher sounding guitar, which had more flavoured tones, and I had more money to invest. I was going to purchase a Steve Vai Ibanez Euphoria, but this guitar was sat next to it and i played it. It sounds sorta different to most othe rguitars, but has that "dreadnoughty" sound to it. the cedar wood gives it a good sound, and it is a very simple, no-frills guitar. (In contrast to El Purplio) It's a simon & patrick guitar. I don't really know much about simon & patrick, except that it's some canadian company, but it's a good guitar, and I believe it found me, rather than I found it.

Simon and Patrick is owned by Godin... they're the best guitar maker in canada second to Larrivee, IMO... and you can't beat the price, even though it's not all solid.

Tanglewood makes nice taylor copies, I've heard of them quite much... I've never heard too much about the vai Ibanez guitars.... well, besides his Jem electrics...

i only wish it sounded as beautiful as it looked! It's great when it's got new strings on though.

the new one igot, the simon & patrick one sounds good, and i've had it for a couple of months now, and still not changed the strings.

And hippielove!!!! Yay for mandolins!!!! I have a crappy madolin, but i never use it! I hope you're better at it than me (I'm crap with the mandolin!)

oh, and thr flute pic is fabulous! i wish I could play flute, but after watching someone play an instrument, I always wish I could play it. The only time i followed through is with guitar.

Flute is like blowing into a coke bottle.

When you start, you might get lightheaded.

You use as much air with a flute as a tuba, believe it or not...

why thank you...he's into bumping it into walls more than playing...but maybe when he gets around 4 or so he'll jamming out like Randy Rhodes did when he started playing...:) but music is such an awesome thing for kids to get into...that and physical fitness.

    take care.

oh my, miami musician, those are a lot of instruments, my admiration :)

I do have a ocarina, too, TheMadcapSyd (my sister lend me a clay one). But I havenĀ“t figured out how to play it right, it always sounds wrong...

Hippievixen, you look so beautiful in that flute pic, great lips!! :)
