Yeah.. I know.. and when I'm 60 and a guy is 53 I probably wouldn't even have to think about it.. but seriously.. I really don't think it's really normal for a 16 y/o guy (who's still in school etc) to have a steady relationship with a 23 y/o female (who is in university or working).. sex is a whole different thing.. but don't you think that at this age the difference is just too big? I still don't really understand why I had a 7 year older bf when I was 17.. and why my friend had an 11 year older boyfriend at 17.. what the hell were those guys thinking? Really...

I think it was somewhere here in the forums where someone said to subtract half of your age and add 7 years. That's the youngest you should date.

1/2 of 30 is 15. 15+7=22.

So, I'm better off dating someone 22 or older? Okay. As a rule, that sounds reasonable. Of course, there are always exceptions to the rule (I don't think I could ever go under 18. It's illegal here and I don't know how comfortable I'd be with the whole situation.)
